About this listen

A vow made....

For centuries Frang has kept a secret-he's immortal. 'Tis a curse instead of a blessing, though. His immortality was bestowed upon him to teach him a lesson, and instead of remaining youthful, the curse turned him into the image of an old man. He's waited for the day he could return to a mortal man, but when that day arrives and he must leave his beloved Druid's Glen, he suddenly finds he might not want to be mortal after all.

A secret kept....

Kenna holds a great secret, one that if discovered could have her burned at the stake. She's not just a healer, she's a Druid. 'Tis a secret she has buried deep inside her. Until Frang. He offers freedom in the Druids, a promise too heady to ignore.

Highland Magic

Awesome storyline that continues the series. Wonderfully narrated by Ruth Urquhart. 5 Stars for both author and Narrator. Filled with unexpected twists and turns, and of course romance.

Another great book

Once again, the author did an outstanding job, adding new pieces to the series. The narrator is so good at bringing the characters to life, and giving them their own personalities.

The story of the immortal Druid Priest

This is the fifth in the Druid Glen series and is connected to the Shield and the Royal Chronicles by Mystic Trinity (formally known as Dragonfyre). This book was enjoyed via Audible Escape.

Frang is an immortal that has cursed to look like an old man for punishment by the Fae, he is a druid priest that now must leave his beloved Glen. He comes across Kenna who is both a healer and Druid. Escorts her to the glen to keep her safe from her would be admirer. Kenna has in her possession a book of unspeakable power and evil which the Wallace wants returned to him along with herself.

Wasn’t as impressed with this one

I feel the hero was made to look like nothing but a ball of sex talks about sex thoughts about sex yada. The heroin was the same the book was 80% this ad-nausea. The plot had great potential it felt the author just pumped out this trash to get it done as it’s the 5th in series.

I’m disappointed, Donna.

This is the first of Donna Grant’s that disappoints me thoroughly. Every character is annoying. The narrator’s voice doesn’t make it any better either. I should have just stuck with the Dark King series.

Its okay…

It was in on par with a few of the others in this series. Not as slow to get moving but just okay. Its a decent read within a decent series. I think i rated them all ‘its okay’
