A stunning conclusion to this series! The last installment was phenomenal. Gruoch is faced with many more challenges but they are on her terms. Emotional at times, the story was fast paced and fantastic helped by the lovely voice of Lesley Parkin. It’s so hard to say goodbye. I have grown very fond of these characters. I loved the ending. Farewell my friends. Till next listen. I give this 5 stars.

The book and narrator were great , I really like that the narrator had a Scottish accent, it really adds to the story line, making it more realistic.

I absolutely loved this entire series. It has the best of Shakespeare, Scottish history, and the magic of the old gods artfully braided together from the point of view of the woman we all knew as Lady McB...

This last in the series was hard for me to finish. I did not want it to end. Through the story I have come to love and hate some of the characters. Some I wanted to just see go on and on. It haunts me the story it was so beautiful and a great end.
The narrator Lesley Parkin did one fantastic job on bring everyone to life and bringing you in to the story making you feel like a part of it.

Highland Queen is the final novel in the Celtic Blood series. This entire saga has been a page turning addiction. Well written, each novel better than the last! A mad king, war, vengeance, magic, love and heart break, I wish the series would go on. The audio was amazingling done and very enjoyable to listen too!

A fantastic series! Well-paced, well developed characters, and perfectly narrated. strongly suggest starting with the first book. Loved it. I will definitely be seeking more by this author.
