Bumbling Antique dealer take on a killer

Would you try another book from Ryan Bennett and/or Joshua Bennington?

I liked Joshua Benningtons performance in this book and I have listened to other books by him. He is a good narrator and I will be looking for more of his work.

Have you listened to any of Joshua Bennington’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have just finished listening to the three books Joshua Bennington did for John Dalglish in the Jason Strong series. They were very good!!

Any additional comments?

Over all not too bad but not great. Worth the listen just to hear Joshua Bennington.

A couple of small bushiness men hunt down a killer

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

The story line was around a couple of not too bright antique dealers who think they can capture a serial killer. The narrator gave the book a big shot in the arm.

Would you be willing to try another book from Ryan Bennett? Why or why not?

The story line was around what I have seen on the Antique TV show but with a lot of violence. It has the potential for many books, but Ryan Bennett will need to improve the stories.

Antique Dealers turn sleuths

Where does Antique Assassin: Reborn, Book 1 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Antique Assassins ranks about in the middle of the audiobooks I have heard. The narration was better than the story but still interesting.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Antique Assassin: Reborn, Book 1?

The most memorable moments were the number of people killed and the lack of concern the main characters had with their loss....you know just another dead person!!

What about Joshua Bennington’s performance did you like?

I have heard his performances with other books he narrated and have always liked his voice.

Any additional comments?

It was not a great book but not a bad book either.

Antique dealers hunt antiques and a serial killer

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I liked the auto book because it kept me entertained while I was driving. The story could have been a little stronger but I still would hear it again on another trip.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The most interesting aspect of the story was how these two antique dealers were never killed. They kept showing up just missing the serial killer.

What does Joshua Bennington bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Joshua Bennington made the average story more entertaining for me. I liked his different voices and gave the characters more personality.

Could you see Antique Assassin: Reborn, Book 1 being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

I think it has already been made into a TV show with the body count.

Any additional comments?

I recommend this book but could not give it more than a three because of the writing. The reader helped the book quite a bite, but I still felt that I could only give it a three star.

Small town serial try"s to wipe out his relatives

Any additional comments?

A predicable story line but kept my attention with all the killings. I kept waiting for the killer to eliminate the two, not very smart antique dealers but they seemed to muddle through each killing with out any harm to them.

Dreadful

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Weak plot, corny lines and the narrator sounds drunk

Would you be willing to try another one of Joshua Bennington’s performances?

Never

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

None, even the motive for writing it was poor
