Publisher's summary

Bobbi Richmond has always been in love with her best friend, Gabe Braddock, even if Gabe, who works for her media mogul father, has always treated Bobbi like a kid sister, calling her "Runt."

After a tipsy Bobbi kisses Gabe at a party, Gabe is surprised to find "Runt" becoming the object of his fantasies, and Bobbi is shocked to find her advances suddenly reciprocated. When Gabe suggests adding "benefits" to their friendship - while keeping their new arrangement secret from their families, of course - should Bobbi feel flattered, or insulted by his insistence on casual sex? Are they even a match? Slick and conservative Gabe dates coiffed blondes, while the tomboyish Bobbi spends much more time fixing cars than her hair.

When Gabe's twin brother, Chase, senses something's up between the old friends, he forces Gabe to confront his real feelings for Bobbi - and decide whether or not he could live without her.

What is with Justine eyre?

Not really sure what type of character would be good for her narrative style but certainly not a young tomboy. She sounds like an elderly French woman not a young fresh voice. She didn't change her voice for any character. It made me turn off the audible and finish it in kindle.

The story was cute enough but if I were the author I would be ticked with this narration choice.

The mechanic

Bobby was always in love with cars. But had a lot to learn about Love. The story was okay and the narration was great. A nice romantic story about two people who grew up next door to each other as best friends but life became complicated after as they became lovers.

Absolutely lovely

I love the story and how the characters just come to life. The human experience is artfully arranged.

talented writer

usually when sex scenes come up in a book I skip it. I roll my eyes at descriptions of "secret folds, inner cores" and other cheesy description. flat out pornographic makes me cringe. this writer had amazing verbiage that completely drew me in. the narrators accent was perfectly sensual. loved the story.

Sweet!

I totally like books 1 and 2 way better.. but this was still good. Glad to see all the characters from books 1 and 2 back, and but... seriously... Bobbie was made to seem so unattractive one minute then... poof, she was drop dead gorgeous to Gabe the next... It kinda threw me off...but that was my only issue with this book.. In fact... the story was spot on... best friends becoming lovers... Now Gabe's twin brother's book... O yea... I am so there!

Totally credit or sale.. Not worth a buy... unless you are totally invested into this series.. I would wait for a credit...

Eyre was perfection!
