Publisher's summary

Who Killed RaeRae?

That’s what the three hearses driving around Belle’s Cove would like to know. To make sure they find answers, they’ve cursed all the witches in town and turned them into rats.

Except Victoria Fox, car mechanic and one-time amateur sleuth.

The catch? She only has three days before the curse becomes permanent and the town's witches stay rats forever.

Now it’s up to Victoria and her fluffer-stinker of a familiar to solve a murder, save her town, and maybe finally find out what pink tastes like.

Another Fun Witchy Mystery!!

Another fun witchy story!! This time, thanks to a well timed text from Boxy, Vic is the only witch who wasn't turned into a rat! And she has three days to solve a murder, otherwise three more people will die, and all the witches will remain rats. I liked Studmuffin's larger role in this story, plus the buttons taped to his paws. All the dialogue between the characters was fun! Especially, Vic and Studmuffin!

This is the second book in the series. It could be enjoyed without reading the first technically (everything relevant is explained), but I'd recommend reading/listening to the first book anyway because it's a fun series.

The narrator does a good job with getting into character and with differentiating the different voices.

The sassy familiar steals the story once again!

There's a lot to like in this story if you liked the first novel in the series. I'm not normally a romance kind of fan, but I did keep waiting for something to happen with either Travis or the Sheriff. My favorite man of the story was Studmuffin the cat, though. The author refers to his tale as his "mood noodle," which is fairly apt. If you liked book one, definitely give this one a listen, too.

Entertaining

I found this audiobook to be entertaining. The author did a great job with the character work and story line. The narrator did a fantastic job of breathing life into the story and made this a fun listen.
