About this listen
Marianne Morea's debut young adult release! Two hundred years of secrets and lies are bleeding into the present, and high school seniors, Hunter Morrissey and Rowen Corbett, find themselves linked with unseen forces shrouded in mystery and violence in the quaint river town of Sleepy Hollow...but the dark water of the Hudson River is not the only blackness looming in the distance. Truths, buried and long forgotten, have risen at a time when the veil between the living and the dead is at its thinnest. Only Hunter and Rowen hold the key to locking the past in the past, and setting old wrongs to right. Can justice be served? Can the two find a way to straddle both worlds and solve the mystery when they don't understand the clues? Inspired by historical events that surround the village of Sleepy Hollow and the famous legend that shares its name, this young adult romance takes you on a journey full of history and suspense with a splash of horror and the paranormal.

Magically Wonderful!
Hollow's End is a very fun and engaging read/listen. This is my first book by this Author and I enjoy her writing style. The characters are in depth and relatable and the pacing is on point. The world she has created in this story is one that I definitely want to know more about. The narrator did a fantastic job bringing the story to life with distinct and easy to understand character voices. I look forward to more from this Author and Narrator. Worth your time and credit!
Wow. I really enjoyed this book. It's a great story with fantastic narration. It's definitley worth your time and credit. This is the first book by this author that I have read and evidently I have been missing out. Hopefully the rest of the series will be available on Audible soon. It's a series I will definitley continue with and be recommending often.
It's a well written, creative, original and very enjoyable take on an urban legend. It pulled me in immediately and never let go. The story draws you in from the start with plenty of supernatural mystery, suspense, magic and ghosts with a hint of romance and a little history that all is woven together in a thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable story. This is one of those books that I wanted to listen to straight through and was annoyed if I had to pause it for any reason. Don't let the hint of romance put you off it's a "clean" romance and age appropriate for a teen audience. Even though it's listed under Teen/YA don't let that fool you. It's a great story that you will enjoy no matter what your age is.
Great cast of interesting and well rounded characters. All of them. The good, bad, likable, unlikable, nice, snotty etc. They are fun, interesting and believable. Rowen and Hunter are of coarse likable from the start. The secondary characters are fantastic as well. They each had a distinct personality that just made the story that much better. Everyone needs a friend like Chloe. Gran is a force unto herself.
Rebekah Nemethy did a fantastic job with the narration. She has one of those voices that just pulls you right into a story. Her voice fit the characters and story perfectly and sounded age appropriate. Clearly spoken with a nice even pace. Really good character voices. Both male and female, teen and adult. Her voice for Gran was perfect. She was able to bring the characters, their emotions and the story to life. Hopefully she will be narrating the rest of the series. Very enjoyable.
A couple of mispronounced words. Or lets say the words were pronounced differently than I have always said/heard them. That didn't take anything away from my overall enjoyment of the story or narration.

Fun Listen!
Rowen and Hunter must uncover secrets from the past and set things right before it's too late. Danger lurks as they try to solve the mystery. I loved the historical aspects and setting, as well as the building plot. A great story, romance (clean and age appropriate), suspense and paranormal elements, along with terrific narration, made this a very satisfying listening experience. Although the target audience is teens and young adults, I had a blast listening to this and I am WAAAAY beyond my YA years! I think that listeners of all ages will enjoy this story, inspired by The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. I would recommend Hollow's End.

Gripping
Talk about a great book to listen to. The narration was perfect, great character voices and the overall delivery was enjoyable and natural. The characters emotions came through loud and clear.
I loved all the info about the legend of Sleepy Hollow, both the real and the made up. The setting was vivivivi.
The story was a series of twists and events that kept me wondering what would happen next. I was hooked from the first chapter right to the end.

Interesting story from Sleepy Hollow
Great story! As an adult who reads/listens to paranormal YA, there was a little more romance than what I usually like. The paranormal aspect was great. On the other hand, if I read/listened to this when I was a teen, I would have loved the romance part. The narrator did a great job. I loved all of the different voices.

Outstanding YA Paranormal Story
This was without a doubt an outstanding supernatural tale based on Sleepy Hollow and the Headless Horsemen. I was not familiar with the tale but learned quite a bit listening to this suspenseful story. I really enjoyed everything about this book. It is an awesome tale especially around this time of the year where Halloween is right around the corner.
Narration was excellent and brought the story to life.
There is suspense, danger, horror, action, romance, witches, ghosts, and much more. It was hard to put this book down. The characters are well developed and very entertaining. I’m so looking forward to the next book in this entertaining series!
I love suspenseful romances and this one was outstanding. I liked the fact that it is a clean read and appropriate for teens and adults. YA Suspenseful Paranormal Romance is my favorite genre and this one ranks high!

Wow!
This book was refreshing. I love a great YA story and this one was just right for my mood. Rowen is a witch from a line of witches and pretty much a normal wall flower type kid. She has her best friend and would rather a night at home than a football game. When she starts dating a popular football jock that starts to change and she finds herself having fun doing activities she never would have done.
There's layers to this story and not as simple as my previous paragraph. Rowen's been having nightmares and strange visions which grow in the presence of Hunter (hunky jock boyfriend). Once they figure it out the plot thickens. The characters are fun, believable and three dimensional. The plot grows steady with plenty of surprises and twists.
To make this story even creepier it takes place and is loosely based on Sleepy Hollow and its past. That's all explained at the end. Overall, a fabulous story that I'm positive I'll listen to again.
