Not great but not horrible either

This was my first Nora Roberts listen. It was easy to listen to and had a decent plot, but I just never really got into the story or characters. Most other light romance novels I can feel and believe the chemistry, but unfortunately never with this one.

published under 2 names & 2 authors.

Wish i had known this was a book that was also written by J D Robb, Nora Robert's alter ego. I wasted one of my credits on a book that i had already purchased. Unfortunately, i waited too long to look at it to return it. Audible needs to have a better description and note that duplicate books and duplicate authors are available and the names of both disclosed. The book is a great read. I love Susan Ericksen!! Her narration is fantastic and I love the changes in her voice for each character especially. Peabody and McNab. Roarke and Summerset are great and all the Irish friends that pop up. Can't wait for the next book in the In Death series!!!!

Great story, excellent narrator

I love Nora Roberts books and this is an old favorite. I read this book years ago but really enjoyed the audible version. Susan Ericksen is and excellent narrator and I search for books read by her. She made Ms. Roberts characters come to life.

Loved it!

I would recommend this book to a friend and have. It was very absorbing. I couldn't put it down. I resented having to do household chores that would take me away from the story.
Nora Roberts has a way of fleshing out her characters so that I could picture them with ease. The narrator was fabulous changing voices and speech cadence so that the story flowed. Loved it!

A bit of crime with a lot of romance

Not one of my favourite Nora Roberts books, but a gook look at family loyalty versus morality.
