Publisher's summary
A new winter holiday, enemies-to-lovers romance, from the undeniably funny and always spicy, USA Today bestselling author, Meghan Quinn.
Every Kringle in Kringletown loved Christmas a lot.
But Cole Black on Whistler Lane, unfortunately did not.
Cole was a recluse during the Kringle Christmas season.
No one knew why, no one could quite give a reason.
Martha said it was because he was alone and very single.
Mae believed it was because he was never named the town Kringle.
But to me, the reason is a storyline far too sad.
For at the age of eighteen, he lost both mom and dad.
Whatever the reason, his parents or being single,
He spends Christmas in the dark, hating the cheery people of Kringle.

Story
In 2022, Lisa Marie Presley asked her daughter to help finally finish her long-gestating memoir. A month later, Lisa Marie was dead, and the world would never know her story in her own words, never know the passionate, joyful, caring, and complicated woman that Riley loved and now grieved. Riley got the tapes that her mother had recorded for the book, lay in her bed, and listened as Lisa Marie told story after story about smashing golf carts together in the yards of Graceland, about the unconditional love she felt from her father, about being upstairs, just the two of them.

Story
Sydney Shaw, like every single woman in New York, has terrible luck with dating. She’s seen it all: men who lie in their dating profile, men who stick her with the dinner bill, and worst of all, men who can't shut up about their mothers. But finally, she hits the jackpot. Her new boyfriend is utterly perfect. He's charming, handsome, and works as a doctor at a local hospital. Sydney is swept off her feet. Then the brutal murder of a young woman—the latest in a string of deaths across the coast—confounds police. The primary suspect? A mystery man who dates his victims before he kills them.

Ta-Nehisi Coates originally set out to write a book about writing, in the tradition of Orwell’s classic “Politics and the English Language,” but found himself grappling with deeper questions about how our stories—our reporting and imaginative narratives and mythmaking—expose and distort our realities. In the first of the book’s three intertwining essays, Coates, on his first trip to Africa, finds himself in two places at once: in Dakar, a modern city in Senegal, and in a mythic kingdom in his mind.

Multicast Perfection!
Hey there, Snow Daddy! How My Neighbor Stole Christmas by Meghan Quinn was a hilarious and heartfelt holiday romance that jingled my bells in all the best ways. Meghan is a mastermind crafting a memorable contemporary romance spin on a Christmas classic, How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Storee and Cole’s journey to happiness filled my heart with laughter and cheer, and I loved it so much!
Vanessa Edwin and J.F. Harding featuring Shane East, Emma Wilder, and Robert Hatchet perform this audiobook in duet-style narration, and this multicast DELIVERED! Vanessa’s bright, decadent tone captured Storee’s awkward, chatty, and passionate spirit as she eventually put her heart and soul into the Christmas Kringle competition and made her desires known to Cole. J.F. added an extra touch of grump to his voice to encompass Cole’s tragic past and complicated feelings towards Storee. However, when truths were revealed J.F.’s warm, rich tone showed just how irresistible Cole could be. Emma Wilder was the perfect adamant sister, while Robert Hatchet turned on the charm as Cole’s holly jolly sidekick. Shane East’s regal tone as the narrator added the perfect touch of cheekiness to keep me laughing throughout.
Overall, I LOVED this book. If you are a fan of a small-town Christmas romance with a grumpy broody hero, a bold sassy heroine, grinchy vibes, taking care of Aunt Cindy, Christmas Kringle competition shenanigans, a “tell-it-like-it-is sister”, a motivated loyal best friend, a presumptuous British narrator, enemies to lovers, truths about the past, second chances, mistletoe kisses, reindeer stable spice, reverse fake dating, quirky citizens, all the Christmas cheer, love declarations, and a HEA that is sure to grow your heart three sizes then you will love Storee and Cole’s story. I always look forward to more from Meghan Quinn.

Classic MQ humor and heat...bring on Christmas
I am convinced that Meghan Quinn is definitely the Queen of the RomCom. I laughed so many times while listening to this book. I'm also convinced that Meghan is the Queen for picking the perfect narrators for her books. Vanessa Edwin and J.F. Harding, along with Emma Wilder, Robert Hatchet and Shane East really brought this performance together perfectly. While there are so many narrators that I love, these narrators were truly the perfect ones for this book.
I loved the enemy aspect of how this book started. Cole and Storee had the perfect back and forth during the first portion of this book. They both gave as good as they got. I loved how they were both fighting so hard to win Christmas Kringle.
Then when these two finally talked about everything, that's when the heat was brought to the cold winter town. These two were so steamy and I loved it. It was so fun to see these two try and sneak around behind Storee's family but parade their "love" in front of the town.
This is the perfect book to get you into the Christmas spirit while also giving you the classic Meghan Quinn humor and heat.

Conner, I mean, Snow Daddy, I mean Cole...
Conner, I mean, Snow Daddy, I mean Cole… and Storee get their second chance romance, with a touch of fake and not-so-fake dating, add in a Colorado mountain town that takes Christmas very seriously, and add in a little bit of spice, and you have yourself a hilarious story! I was laughing so hard listening and reading this. JF Harding and Vanessa Edwin were amazing. The banter between Cole and the narrator, Shane East, was the absolute best and my favorite parts of the story. The full cast really sells the audiobook though.
Now to the spice… I will never be able to look at a candy cane the same ever again, so thanks for that Meghan 😂

had me laughing out loud & giving me feels
After facing a tragedy 10 years ago Cole Black, the ultimate Christmas grump, is all about hibernating through the holidays.
Enter Storee Taylor, his old friend turned enemy and festive rival, who’s determined to win the town's Christmas Kringle contest.
Their banter is everything!
Watching their fake dating antics unfold is pure gold, especially as they start to realize their feelings are way more real than either of them expected.
What I loved most? The depth beneath the holiday fluff. Storee's journey of self-discovery while dealing with feelings of isolation and Cole's struggle with grief add so much heart to the story. Their growth together is super uplifting.
Plus, the audiobook cast is fire! Vanessa Edwin, J.F. Harding, Robert Hatchet, Emma Wilder, and Shane East.
I couldn’t put it down and finished it in a day.
If you're into grumpy-sunshine dynamics, small-town charm, and a sprinkle of spice, you NEED to check this out. Perfect for cozying up with some hot cocoa!

The Perfect Holiday Rom-Com
Meghan Quinn does it again! I have to say that I was a bit hesitant when I first saw the page count, but I enjoyed every single second of this book. The banter is superior, the spice is spicy, and the Christmas references are top notch. Add in an incredibly heartwarming story and you have the perfect holiday rom-com. I may never look at a candy cane the same way again but I’m not mad about it. Haha. I cannot recommend this book enough!
Thank you to Meghan and her team for this ARC in return for my honest review. My thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love everything about this story!
When Storee Taylor and her sister Taryn rush to help take care of their aunt, they’re taken back to the town they used to spend every Christmas many years ago. Neither was particularly happy to be in the town that celebrated Christmas year-round, but they’d make the best of the situation. It would give them time to visit with their aunt, and help her with the annual holiday contest.
Cole Black is the town grump. Although years ago, he and Storee were friends. But she broke his heart when she left town and never came back. When they run into each other after 10 years, Storee was happy to see her old friend. Cole was not happy at all. He didn’t want to be reminded of the bad memories he had of Storee. When Cole found out Storee was entering the annual Christmas contest, he decided he was going to enter, just to keep her from winning. It was on!
Cole and Storee were both dealing with old and recent wounds. As the contest unfolds with each event, they begin to learn so much about each other, what friendship, and the holidays are truly about. Before you know it, feelings make their appearance. This was a wonderful holiday story that had my swooning, cursing, laughing very loudly, and singing.
I absolutely love Meghan Quinn’s rom-coms! She knows how to combine love, humor, serious heat, and a great story. The banter between Cole and his best friend Max was hilarious. The town residents are a treat, as well.
The narration was perfectly cast with J.F. Harding, Vanessa Edwin, and supported by Shane East, Robert Hatchet, and Emma Wilder.

What a holly jolly cup of steamy goodness!!
Meghan Quinn out did herself this time. Listening to this gem of a story left me with that warm and festive feeling. I literally walked around with a smile on my face when listening to this book. It’s an adult narration of a childhood favorite and it’s hilarious, unexpected and steamy. Storee and Cole are stubborn, stuck in their ways and perfect for each other. They are only made better by Vanessa and JF’s narration which elevated the characters emotions. But Shane’s role as the narrator was perfection. He captured the uppity but good natured, fun essence of the narrator and had me laughing out loud. You must listen to this book!!

Sexy, laugh out loud holiday fun!!!
How My Neighbor Stole Christmas is laugh out loud holiday fun! It’s a second chance story between Cole and Storee, that is filled with small town fun, crazy banter, a Christmas competition that brings all the holiday vibes and shenanigans, a ton of heart and a whole lot of HEAT. Think Hallmark movie but make it extra spicy!!! If you’re looking for a sexy holiday rom com, look no further!
The narrators were absolutely fabulous, which is usually the case with a Meghan Quinn audiobook! JF Harding was perfect as Cole-stubborn, sexy and a little vulnerable at times. I love his tone and I really wish I could listen to him more!! And I never tire of listening to Vanessa Edwin. She is always awesomely sarcastic, flirty and strong, but her range of emotion is what really gets me every time. With the addition of Shane East as the hilarious ‘’narrator’ of the story and Emma Wilder and Robert Hatchet as side characters, I highly recommend giving this one a try on audio!!! It was so so good!
