Publisher's summary

It's not enough to be right these days - especially when you're not left.

To survive, the right must learn how to express nonliberal principles as effectively as possible and persuade others of their point of view. It is an art that demands patience, research, humor, understanding, creative thinking, learning from your opponent, and even mimicking their tactics.

In How to Be Right: the Art of Being Persuasively Correct, Gutfeld reveals the strategies that have helped him keep a steady job for almost three decades. From "Discard Your Outrage" and "Outcompassion Them" to "Find the Right's Obama" and "Use your Mom", Gutfeld gives listeners the tools they'll need to argue, influence, and convince their friends, family, and foes throughout the 2016 election cycle.

Classic Gutfeld

Great insights on a variety of topics. Laced with Greg's irreverent humor and wit. Some four letter words laced throughout for emphasis so might not want to listen in front of the kiddos but well worth the listen.

Not narrated by Greg

Great book but to me it loses a certain connection when it is not read by the author. Especially when someone like Greg has a unique voice and would have added to all of the sarcasm in the book. It's just not the same when a random narrator reads his sarcastic points with no real connection...the narrator probably doesn't even know who Greg is.

Washington Politics

Would you try another book from Greg Gutfeld and/or Steve Kramer?

No

Has How to Be Right turned you off from other books in this genre?

No

Would you be willing to try another one of Steve Kramer’s performances?

Yes

Do you think How to Be Right needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No, I do not want anymore of Washington politics thru someone's Lens. I would like to have my own opinions.

Any additional comments?

The title is very misleading. The title implies nothing about American politics . It appears as a self development book but in reality the ideas are deeply embedded in politics. Greg assumes that everyone knows what is going in contemporary American Politics. For someone who does not follow the details of American Politics this is a waste. Also, he uses too much of foul language. I did not enjoy this book, for me it was a waste.

Drunk person rambling.

Book had no direction or story lines. It was like listening to a drunk person ramble in a bar. But Gutfeld is funny so it wasn't a waste of time.

Steve Kramer...not the greatest narrator.

Good book and content, Steve Kramer and his horrible narration killed the experience for me.

Not bad

I am disappointed in myself for not reading the description fully. It's just not the same when you expect to hear Gutfeld's familiar voice. I wish Gutfeld would have been the narrator.

funny but....

I love Greg Gutfeld let's just start with that. his humor is hilarious which is the point but... Greg's style of humor is best suited when he's the one delivering the punchlines. I just couldn't get into the book as much as I would if it would have been him reading it. the guy doing the reading was good enough that I was able to finish the book and take a lot away from it so that's why I give it 5 stars overall because the content is great!

Funny but accurate

Gets to the heart of the matter. Interesting how funny truth is and how much hypocrisy it reveals.

The Greg I never knew

I was completely unaware of where and how Greg got his start in the entertainment world This book gave me a different perspective on both him and the challenges of speaking with those of other political and person perspectives.

His light hearted yet spot on commentary was a refreshing look at how to get your point across without getting into a bar fight. It was a humorous yet humorous look at politics and life.

Although I disagree with him on the, “vaping” issue I could see his points.

Time well spent!

It's nice to have persuasive responses

I do wish Greg actually read the book. Other than that, it was funny and informative. Great for when you are the only conservative in your place of work.
