Publisher's summary

Abraham Davis - Honest Abe to his friends - is in over his head....

He’s a fixer and a do good-er. The all-knowing resident "grandfather" on the wrestling team who everyone relies on to fix their problems. His teammates go to him for everything: advice, homework, or when they need a sober driver at three in the morning - whether he likes it or not.

Abe’s current mission is easy: mend his roommate's broken heart by helping him find a girlfriend on the LoveU app - without getting caught in the lie....

Skylar Gabriel. Is. Over. It.

Over her bad grades. And over dating douchebags. What she wants to know is: Where have all the nice guys gone?

She longs for a handsome, sweet, and honest guy who can make her laugh. In one last ditch effort to prove that he exists, Skylar turns to LoveU.

On her worst day, Skylar has no filter (it’s a miracle she hasn’t been ditched mid-date).
On her best, she’s as wholesome and sweet as pie.
On Thursday? She matches with Abraham Davis’s roommate.

Skylar Gabriel is falling for the wrong guy - she just doesn’t realize it yet.

Why?

Because Abe Davis is a liar.

Not my favorite in the series.

The big douchebag in this book is Abe’s friend JB, who he impersonates. I couldn’t understand why Abe would enable such an unrepentant jerk. JB is not funny or remotely charming, and Abe lost major points with me for refusing to stand up to him. I liked that Skylar knows her worth and doesn’t put up with crap from either guy. Her chemistry with Abe is just ok for me because she’s honestly too good for him.

I’ve been a big fan of the How to Date a Douchebag series. Its hallmarks are laugh-out-loud humor and flawed characters that you grow to love. There is fun banter in this book— albeit a little too much messaging back and forth—but I simply didn’t warm to the characters the way I typically do.

You don’t get much better than the narrating duo of Jacob Morgan and Muffy Newtown. They are always so expressive and have perfect comedic timing, so the audiobook is an easy and enjoyable listen.

Might be my favorite of the series

These characters are hilarious and the narration is spot on. My only complaint is that I would have loved a bit more complexity to the plot, but I seriously enjoyed this listen from beginning to end.

Great listen

Loved it. Short but sweet and steamy. Now I need Rex's book! Great narration by Jacob and Muffy

Started out so well

This is the last of the series. It started out so well. Then it is like a new author took over. It went from making me laugh out loud to thinking ...WTF. Narrators as always did a great job.

A fun listen

The narration is so great on this. A fun story Abe is a little too nice to his friends and it gets him in trouble but he’s not a bad guy at all.
Skyes friend Hannah is a fun character
Worth a listen

3.5 stars

3.5 stars
I like books by this author, but I have noticed some of the books don't seem complete. I enjoyed this premise, the characters, the dialogue and the build-up of the central relationship. Only problem is the book ended without the main characters exchanging "I love you's." They are dating at the end of the book, but I think a romance book should include a declaration of feelings before the end (unless the story continues with another book.)
I will give this book 3.50 stars. I enjoyed everything about it, but it seemed like it wasn't a complete story. I wanted to read about their declaration of feelings; I wanted to see them falling in love. I felt like this book just covered the beginnings of their relationship and the start of their falling for each other.

Cute story, but not as good as the other books in the series. Great narration.

The Lying Hours

Adorable, Abe is Adorable!!
I really enjoyed this book, I love that he is kind of a pushover but when it came time to put up or shut up he put up, even when it went against his nature.

I think JB is the highest douchebag and I am glad he wasn’t the one for Skylar.

I loved the interaction between Skylar and her bestie Hannah who I hope get a book ASAP because that ending was amazeballs.

Also I was cracking up with Abe and Zeke, I mean who would have thought how cute was Zeke he is my all-time favorite of the Douchebags and for him to be so dang cute well I just couldn’t stop smiling throughout all the parts with him.

I loved the narration, Muffy is the best and Jacob well he just has that kind of voice you know.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this series

Another great one for Sara Ney, Jacob Morgan and Muffy Newtown as the narrators. I have been waiting what seems like forever for the release of this audio and it did not disappoint me at all. And now I am eagerly anticipating Rex Gunerson's story. Such an entertaining series.
