Excellent guide to Bible memorization

This was my second Adam Houge book and it was well worth the price.

It is as valuable for what it tells you to do as it is for what it tells you not to do. Houge reviews various memorization methods and explains to the listener why some methods are somewhat useful, other methods are more useful, and some others (used in other religions) are virtually useless for attempting to memorize God's Word. This good, better, and best approach helped me to filter out some of the less useful methods and focus on what works.

I just finished reading it, so I can't say that I've put it into practice, yet, but Bible memorization is a goal of mine, and I can't wait to try out his methods because they make a lot of sense to me.

good content but really new , good narrator

method is used by most persons who have studied successfully relying on God to get them thru. Just a structured explanation. Worth trying

What a wonderful surprise!

I expected a much more dry and pedantic book but this was an excellent encouragement and how to book on connecting with the Holy Spirit to internalize the message as the means to memorize scripture.

No application, just methods

I thought this would teach you some verses. But it's just telling you to pick a designated quiet spot in your home, make sure you're not tired so drink coffee, ask the Lord for help and then memorize. No application. Sad.

Blah Blah Blah

Received very little from this to memorize scripture. Do not waste time and money on this unscriptural nonsense.
