What the heck?

I don’t know what this book is but it’s not about how to sing in any way shape or form.

What a horrible waste of time and money.

Completely misleading title. There is almost no info in here about how to sing. It goes into general ramblings about such things as how to select a producer and what notes different types of singers sing in such as tenors and sopranos. It repeats the same general things over and over again. Can't tell you how many times I heard, "Join a gym but check with a doctor before starting an exercise regime. Drink a lot of water." It goes on about all the benefits of singing. Seeing as how we all bought a book about how to sing we probably don't need to be sold on the benefits of singing. The writing is atrocious. For example, it uses the term "orderly singing" as if that is a term that means anything. I wondered if I was too much of a newbie to know its meaning so I googled it. The only things that came up were articles about a singing orderly, as in someone who works in a hospital and sings. After a while you will get sick of hearing the phrase "be that as it may" used over and over again. Finally, the reader uses this sing song style of talking with the voice rising and then falling over and over again which grows annoying. All of the positive reviews on here must be friends of the writer. I've never been angry about buying a book before. I feel like I was completely lied to about what I was going to get. I'd give zero stars if it was possible.

Justin Bybber? Don't be fooled by the ratings!

After wasting 5 hours, I still have no idea how this audio book obtained such high ratings.

This offers absolutely no advice or practical information on how to sing! The five star reviews have got to be fake!

I may look for another one

Wow, the narrator will put you to sleep. Not entirely sure what the first chapter has to do with the title and supposed subject matter, and its over an hour long. Its not an easy listen. Im far from done and not sure I will finish this one. My opinion, waaaay to much extraneous information without getting to the point. I didn't get this book for an anthropological history of music and singing; I just wanted some help improving my singing voice. So far I have not found much of that help here.

Do not waist your time.

This book is the equivalent of click bait on YouTube or junk mail. What a joke. Full of copy and paste sentences and the author never gets to the point. The beginning of the book starts out with the theory. You think the theory of the book would be about singing. Neh! the author talked about producers and other non related things to learning to sing. This book is filled with "if you want to know the secret to singing then keep reading" and then they never get to the point. Do not waste your time or money on this garbage scumbag author.

Might be good, but...

The narration is HORRIBLE.

The cadence and speed of the female narrator (as it is mentioned that there are 2 narrators) makes this unlistenable.

If there is valuable information in this book, I'll have to check out a physical copy to find it.
