This is such an amazing guide! This is kind of along the same vein of so many other books I've listened to, mainly ones about starting your own business. If you love the ranch life, you CAN live out that kind of life, and let this book show you how.

This audiobook is very helpful for someone that doesn't know much other than basic common sense things that I can imagine about ranching. And even if you think you're full of common sense and logic, then you know that you don't know everything and need to open your eyes and ears and minimum confirm that you're not missing anything and are on the right track before jumping into a huge commitment.

I say this because see others refer to the information being common sense and not helpful, but I'd like to point out as someone with multiple graduate and professional degrees, that some of the most basic common sense components are the exact foundational pieces that are easy to miss if you haven't gone through every step of the process before.

Yes, the audiobook is under 2 hours BUT I will say that if I were actively taking notes, I'd need to pause and take notes on EVERYTHING to make a checklist with a timeline of what needs to be addressed minimum and to not miss anything and so I could build on that information with further research.

Of course, there are more details to flesh out and homework to do after listening to this but so there would be with anything that involves creating and building a business.

I appreciate this audiobook because it's an easy way to learn more about what is involved in starting a ranch and helps to make sure you don't miss anything big that would cost you your livelihood or your life or the life of your cattle. It can be overwhelming with the density of information and investments involved BUT that is why it's important to learn about it and hold the vision of what you want so you can fully commit to it, knowing that it's what you really want. Thank you!!
