Straightforward material that can inspire change

I listened to this book while cooking dinner one night, half-expecting the basic preachy self-help nonsense. I was surprised by this one as I continued through the book. The practical tools, like setting boundaries without feeling guilty, really make sense. I also loved the case studies; several of them stuck with me. It's especially great if you are curious about self-improvement but get turned off by overly academic or preachy approaches.
