Informative, insightful, and inspirational!!!

What an incredible compilation of testimony by the industry's working professionals! Their didactic nature, self-driven passion, intrinsic motivation to bring them face to face with their dreams - this book is a wonderful resource for anyone who wants first hand advice from the very people they watch living out their dream!

Huge thank you to the author and much appreciation to the stunt performers who let us in on the ins and outs of the lifestyle and pursuit!

Interesting Topic, Not so exciting audiobook

The narrator and co-narrators were too simplistic wirh their delivery. Nothing really grabbed my attention while listening to this audiobook. Each person's dialogue is rather stale and sounds like a vocal recording in an empty room. I was hoping for more of an emotional retelling and eye opening look at how difficult being a stuntman in Hollywood can be. However, I was left wanting more. Even though Amy Johnston is a talented stuntwoman. Her narration needs lots of practice. There was very little conflict or resolution, no cliffhangers. It was like listening to a boring lecture without the eye catching slides to keep me hanging on to every spoken word of dialogue. Perhaps, she could shed some more light upon the subject by having some intimate conversations with the people who instrumental in furthering her career.

Vague or gatekeepers

The most elaborate information was upon the credentials these performers have other than that nothing that they said was detailed it was all vauge generic "adive " no details about experiences, no professional advice at all, not even about diet or regimen. It was basic things like don't eat sweets, if crave this I do this instead. Like ummm yeah we know that versus something like I eat x amount of protein and x amount of fats and my training is this and that. Instead they said stuff like I wake and train real hard be sure to not miss a Monday. Yet again things people can get from a meme on IG. Of note the narrator and voice actors did not do good either, they sound like they are trying to be AI voices on tiktok. Can I get my credits back?
