i think this is good for beginner. Go to Section14

This book is for beginners like me. I would skip to section 14 where the real Q and A about your childhood or past starts.

Audible books are difficult for flipping through the book. So we end up wasting time but
we just do our best.

The book give suggestions how to be a better person and live a healthier life.

I do think this is a helpful book.
Sometimes all you need is a bit of help to get you going.
I recommend this book.

This is a workbook not a How-to

A little disappointed. It includes some good writing prompts but I would consider this more of a workbook or companion to a book. This does not give much useful information on the “how” to write a life story. It is a list of tools and tips and mostly writing prompts. Would have liked to have a little more content. There is an entire chapter that is just a list of motivational/positivity reminders. Nothing anyone hasn’t heard before.

This is a questionnaire, not a guide to writing

The first 13 sections (13!) contain thoroughly irrelevant directives including stay hydrated, sleep enough, and imagine how proud your friends will be when they learn you've written a memoir. The remainder of the book is a list of memory prompts, not a guide to writing well or organizing a memoir. Don't waste your time.
