Publisher's summary

The extended version How To Write A Full Length Novel In 90 Days...over 100 pages of a tried and tested system used by a successful thriller writer with 12 novels and a series of book marketing guides published since 2008!

Now the number 1 selling "writing skills" guide on kindle!

This concise guide tells you how to write a novel by using a systematic approach to writing.

This guide is written by an author not a “guru".

A simple step by step breakdown of how to plan each day.

No fillers and no theory, just the hard facts in a concise guide.

There are many guides about writing novels on the market but how many of them are written by prolific published authors? The answer is "not many".

How can anyone write a guide unless they have been through the writing process many times before? The simple answer to this question is they can’t because they cannot feed on their own actual experiences to help another writer to avoid the mistakes and pitfalls.

Most guides regurgitate information, which they have picked up from creative writing books or sites.

How can they give you advice when they have never sat down and focused on creating a novel, which will sell, many times over?

Writing a novel is the same as any other task we undertake as individuals. We have to learn how to do it in order to do it well. When you first learn to drive, you need lessons. No one walks into the kitchen and creates a gourmet dish on their first attempt. If you want a system to apply to writing a book, then you need to take advice from an “author" who has taken years to develop the process via experience.

Succinct

This guy nailed it! I did not need a sales pitch for all the books he’s written while he tells me how to write. This guy was to the point and gave complete simple instruction. This was my fifth attempt at trying to find this information. I was about to give up, thank you

It is an excellent concept

Any additional comments?

He has some great advice but..."it is easy for him to say...". I believe, I just don't have the imagination to create or the intelligence to present a story in an effective way. I don't care how many great techniques you may hear, if you don't have some degree of talent to begin with, no one can make you a successful writer. If you possess talent, you can profit from the techniques in proportion to the amount of effort and time you are willing and able to invest.

Some great tips.

Some of the tips are great, but I question some of them. Also, I've never heard of the author.

Wow! Lots of information in an hour!

Would you consider the audio edition of How to Write a Book in 90 Days to be better than the print version?

I have read how-to books but never listened in audiobook format. I HIGHLY recommend this method of learning! Or maybe it's just that Conrad Jones' book packs a lot of good information in an hour. While the title is a bit misleading--you gotta have the talent FIRST to write a book in 90 days--the narrator Paul Holbrook does a terrific job of pacing his speech to fit the rather dense content.

What did you like best about this story?

Author Conrad Jones does a great job of keeping your attention and keeping the content maneagable with short chapters and concise topics. The "bullet" approach is great way to remember what is heard.
The book's premise--writing a book in 90 days--is not so much how to write, but ideas on how to pace yourself and to not get discouraged.

What insight do you think you’ll apply from How to Write a Book in 90 Days?

I have school aged kids who write frequently in school, and the things I learned I have suggested to them. I have suggested that my 13 year old listen to this book as I think it will help her writing in general.

Any additional comments?

To keep with the previous comment, this book has some great ideas for creative writers, or any type of writer out there~

Not easy to listen to or follow

What would have made How to Write a Book in 90 Days better?

The book was a bit amateurish and did not flow easily. It was a struggle to listen to the narrator and glean anything from the book.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Paul Holbrook?

The narration did not flow easily and was very difficult to listen to. The narrator had a strange accent, mispronounced many words, and his delivery was very choppy and amateurish, with unusual pauses and inflections. Within a few minutes I had to turn the book off and request my money back.
