over the top gore and fun

Excellent first audiobook from Wade H Garrett. Completely over the top with gore and body horror and totally cringe-inducing at times. Not always 100% anatomically correct, but always 100% crazy and fun.
The narrator did an excellent job, especially considering the extreme scenarios the characters find themselves in.

This is Definitely Not for the Faint of Heart!

Wade H. Garrett is a new to me author. This definitely will not be my last story by this indie author.i went in not knowing anything about Mr. Garrett's writing style, his character development, or world building. I enjoyed the experience. Great job!

Matthew Conley was a good narrator, I felt presentation lacked in differentiating the characters voices. Other than that I enjoyed it.

Extreme Horror is a fascinating genre, in my opinion. It's so gruesome and horrific that it keeps my mind open to just how deep an author will go inside themselves to bring forth fresh, unique, terrifying, dark, and twisted worlds. Action packed from beginning to end, I found myself in the midst of it all, as each scene played out, sometimes I had to reverse just to make sure I heard what I thought I heard.

The banter between the characters is often harsh and blunt, there a few times I chuckled because some dialogue stuck a funny bone. All in all I was fascinated by the presentation, crisp and dark writing style.

Seth is something else! He doesn't play around when he exacts revenge on those who have harmed animals. It blew my mind!!!

If you like Extreme Horror, then I recommend this to you!

No one matches Garrett’s level of detail

First, if you’re the type of reader that is easily upset, or overly squeamish, then this is not the book for you. But, if you’re a fan of extreme horror (think Edward Lee, Wrath James White, Matt Shaw) then you’ll love this book. Garrett takes him time dissecting every bit of imagery you can think of for the torture scenes, and the book skips by at a quick pace. The narration was top notch, clearly spoken and not to fast nor slow. Again, if you’re a fan of extreme horror, and maybe if you think you’ve heard it all, then give this one a shot.

OMG, not for the squeamish!

I have listened to some pretty gruesome stories.....well I thought I had. I was wrong. This has to be the most gruesome story I’ve ever read. You won’t get tired reading this story. There is always some form of punishment or torture, never a dull moment. I was doing pretty good through it but as I got about 40 minutes to the end I almost couldn’t take it. I was so close to the end I have to bear it.

At first I didn’t understand why the characters that were getting tortured kept thinking they would get out alive....why they were more concerned with infection instead of the horrendous ways they were getting tortured. I didn’t get it. But as I listened further I started to understand just how drugged they were. That’s when it made sense.
Very creative writing. The things Wade Garrett came up with, unreal.
I didn’t expect it to end the way it did, which I mean in a good way. I don’t feel like I’ve been left in the dark to wonder, I personally don’t like that feeling after finishing a book.

Even though I myself got a little light headed towards the end, I’m glad I listened.

Thanks for the insight to torture!! Will be downloading more of Wade Garrett’s stories.

A true Xtreme horror book

The best extreme horror writer of this time Wade H Garrett does not pull any punches its politically incorrect, and right down a page turner (sort of speak) great story telling from begging to end.

Narrator is Spot On!

Wow! The narrator does a wonderful job. Plain spoken, easy to understand, great voice. The story and plot are well written and the horror imagery is written in words that play out like a movie in my head. Don't miss this awesome opportunity to listen to a great story that is amazingly narrated.

Extra brutal

Wow, after listening to the first three books, the writer has definitely ramped up the violence and gore. This is his a maddest one yet. Prepare yourself! Personally I still prefer the gravedigger but this is a great audio book.

it was okay

While I enjoy the concept of Gore just for the sake of being gory I did not like the repeated dialogue over and over like people were saying the same things or the same dialog was being repeated the same questions asked the same phrases coming from the main character over and over again throughout the book, it would get super annoying. as far as the creativity of the main character tearing people apart that was pretty good I haven't finished the story yet I just thought I would stop and leave a review because I was getting annoyed at the repetitiveness in the dialogue.
