Better than the first

'Hush' is the second book in C.S Anderson's Zombie Extinction Event series and succeeds in advancing the story of the survivors known as the Narwhals. 'Hush' picks up shortly after the events of 'Suffer the Little Children' and delivers a solid and enjoyable zombie survival story. Rather than simply continuing with the child zombies introduced in 'Suffer the Little Children', Anderson instead opts for an ever evolving threat, which I thought helped add to the unpredictability of the story. He also demonstrates that nothing and no one is safe, which is always good in survival horror stories. There are some aspects of the new threats that could stand for some explaining, especially as events become more complicated, but so far the lack of answers hasn't detracted form the story. Thomas Stone does a good job narrating, and helps bring things to life in a no nonsense kind of way.

I am a sucker for a good zombie story, and so far Anderson keeps delivering while still leaving you wanting more. I look forward to the next book.

Awesome 2nd book in this zombie apocalypse story

This was just pure non stop entertainment fron the first word to the last. The story just continues to amaze me with unexpected twists. I only have one question, when is book 3 coming out? What a talented author and narrator.
