Into the Abyss We Go!

In our fourth book of the series, we have our plots, side quests, emotions rising, and our characters we are bonding with. Yet, you want every book of a long series to stand out while being cohesive.
The one word for this addition is:
STEAMY!
Phew doggies! The spice is flying in variant levels of degrees between several of the characters.
Bringing Nyx in last book really amped up the smolder, but her general status shows her power.
And now half of our crew is in the horrid Abyss, this realm we have spent three books learning about and trying to figure the overly integrate way to get there. The introduction to it last book absorbed me. I was hoping the scenes would be just as interactive here, but they didn’t stag me like the locales of Nyx’s haven and the magic academy.
But, I’m hopeful with the next book there.
Professor Smokeshow… (Gosh! When will I learn?! Lol!) he was as engaging and charming as ever. But he definitely is starting to become…green… ;) I must admit; his behavior in the first chapter irked me!
And no; he is still horrid with recalling names! Ha! Love this gag.
And Emma is still my girl. What she has to go through her, especially in this installment…it is raw, gripping, pulls at your heart, and the narrator captivated this so well. She is such an amazing, perfectly balanced and inspiring character and I admire her.
She deserves love.
I do wish we had more time with Emma’s friends too.
And the ending! Holy dang! It was fast, intense, and left me yelling to learn more.
As a reader, I was growling to need to know now.
As a fellow author; props for a shocking cliffhanger.

Now, time to praise my favorite male narrator: Mr. Anare.
He brought the HEAT for all the passionate scenes.
The emotions of revelations and self-doubts from the past.
Romance tension.
Lots of Scottish animals that always make me grin in good-humor (fir they are good and make me happy,)
But other than Emma’s heartbreaking scenes, the performance was the dungeon scene. All the intense rising and falls of multiple emotions, and how he made you feel the intensity from the character was really powerful and I felt it rumbling for my core when he did it. Bravo to you!
I am ready to crash into book five.
