Publisher's summary

Joshua Miller wants you to be happy. Not just getting by, not just successful by society's standards, but can't-wait-to-wake-up-every-single-day happy. If you're shaking your head, convinced this is impossible for you, Joshua calls bullshit. The life you want is attainable - you simply need to reconnect with the person you really are.

I Call Bullshit: Live Your Life, Not Someone Else's takes the wildly overcomplicated advice presented by the self-help industry, distills it down to its basic principles, and reveals how those principles can help you become your authentic self. With insights designed to shake you out of your complacency, Joshua will show you how to face your problems head-on and conquer them with strategies that work for you.

Your life doesn't have to suck. Honest. I Call Bullshit challenges you to be true to your dreams, your purpose, and yourself.

A Game Changer

As a team leader, coach and trainer in my field, this book culminated all that I have read in this genre into one, easy to utilize book. It is a no holds barred reminder of all the little excuses and stories we allow into our thoughts and mindset, that make us not act on what we say we want. No matter where you are in your journey of personal growth, this book serves as a reminder of what you have already learned but have not yet put into practice, as well as will get you on your way of asking the questions and challenging yourself to the change you seek; little by little, step by step. It’s real and tangible and I will be not only re-reading it myself but have and will continue to excitedly shared it with my clients and team. Joshua Miller is a refreshing and straight shooting voice in a world that needs just that.

NOT NEW INFO, HIGHLY RELATABLE PRESENTATION

Been reading motivational/self-help for years - keeps me accountable and growing. So I didn't gather anything ground-breaking but I think the value in this book is the presentation. He's relatable and down to earth. Like you're listening to your brother or neighbor or co-worker. Would be great for someone new to the genre that would be put off by someone with a grandiose demeanor,
