About this listen

Are you on the hunt for more information on the policies, procedures, and laws that surround special education? Perhaps your child has recently been diagnosed with a special need and you want to make sure that you have a guidebook that can help you improve your knowledge and help them as much as you can. Maybe a friend or close family member’s child has special needs, and you want to support them with their parenting needs and potential issues. Or perhaps you simply want to learn more about this important and under-educated subject, so that you are more well-informed. I’m aware there is a ton of information online, but the available information is often spread across a lot of technical sources, and it is hard to follow.

That is why I wrote the Special Education Guidebook Series. I wanted to provide you with guidebooks that you can treat as your bible when it comes to special education. This audiobook, IDEA: Need-to-Know Laws, Policies, and Procedures for Parents and Teachers of Children with Disabilities, is the first book in the series of our special education resources.

This is a comprehensive guide that you can use for all of your special education needs and queries. You will no longer be forced to spend hours scouring the internet for information. Instead, you can use that time to support your child and family more. From listening to this audiobook, you will have a greater grasp of special education and how you can support your child better. This will be the only audiobook you need on this subject, and you will find yourself constantly referring back to it as your source of knowledge. Get a copy of the first book in the Special Education Guidebook Series - IDEA: Need-to-Know Laws, Policies, and Procedures for Parents and Teachers of Children with Disabilities today, and take your understanding to new levels!

Great quick breakdown of IDEA and SPED

I love how towards the end of each chapter you provided an example story. I am new to the world of teaching special education inclusion and you provided great insight to how I can improve and what I am doing right.

Amazing and informative

I am working on my degree to teach SPED but I also have a passion for advocacy for parents and students with disabilities. As a newbie researching SPED law this book was easy to follow and very detailed. Thank You for your wealth of knowledge.
