Hot and steamy with super hot Shane. The narrator also did a great job. I took one star away for grammatical errors. Get a proofreader! I don’t understand why authors won’t spend a few hundred dollars on a real proofreader.

I love Fiona Cole’s books!
I got addicted to her words with Voyeur, so when I saw this book that I hadn’t read yet, I had I take a listen. It did not disappoint!
Brother’s best friend and age gap romance FTW🙌🏼
Lots of heat
Lots of push and pull, although I wanted to strangle Shane to get a clue or he was going to lose her.

Single female narration by Jae Delane was well executed. I enjoyed the varied voices she gave each character. It made listening to the story very entertaining!

Juliana wants her brother Jack's best friend and womanizer Shane. With 13 years btw them Shane and Juliana definitely have the attraction to one another but he's got LOTS of baggage.

After months of not seeing him she runs into Shane again only he wants nothing to do with her because he's Jacks best friend.

This is a cute older brother best friend love pursuit, however, despite how educated Julianna is and how determined to not be treated as a child at 25 I think she can sometimes be insensitive towards Shane's situation and history. Sure the sex and creative sex is good, but Jack is all Shane has as a friend and family, and if he takes a chance on Julianna and loses, well, she just doesn't get the fact that he's lost not just his relationship with her but his relationship with Jack.

25yo Juliana has a thing for her older brother’s best friend...he’s 13yrs older! Can Shane see past the age difference as well as his friendship with her brother and admit his feelings?

General rule of thumb, folks. The window isn't clean when you are to busy seeing the glass rather than through it. In other words, it is fine to speak correctly and to enunciate. It is another thing to narrate while hyper enunciating. listening to this woman, I imagine her lips opening wide while she is doing those lip loosening exercises while speaking nursery rhymes. She reading makes the book seem RIDICULOUS.

This book was the second book I read from Cole and I have to say its one I go back and re-listen. I think it was listening to this story that I knew I would always continue to read this author. After having read multiple books of hers, I have to say she is very talented and witty, and definitely knows her tropes.

This is one of the good ones!
