About this listen

Nothing compares to the physical chemistry between an immortal and his life mate - or to the spellbinding thrills in a new Argeneau novel by New York Times best-selling author Lynsay Sands....

A simple promise to protect her friend’s infant son has turned Allie Chambers’ existence upside down. Caring for - and feeding - an orphaned vampire baby has been tricky enough. But as little Liam grows, so does his appetite. He needs more blood than she can personally supply. And when her attempts to steal from a blood bank go awry, Allie wakes up surrounded by doctors, cops...and the gorgeous, mesmerizing Magnus, who she can neither trust nor resist.

Magnus never expected to find his life mate breaking into a blood bank. Clearly, Allie is already entwined with his world - in deeper, more dangerous ways than she realizes. A band of vicious rogue immortals is in pursuit, and Magnus’ first task is to keep her safe. His second: to awaken her to mind-blowing pleasure, and hope she’ll accept the life, and the passion, that only he can offer.

Suspense, romance and a hint of comedy.

Lynsey sands is my number one author when it comes to the what I love to call the S.R.H. Never a dull moment. I have the complete series and am still in love with it. the narrators could be better maybe have a male play the guy and female for the girl. The darkness balanced out the mushy stuff. Not overly sexed like some romance and the dry humor had me wanting more. I hope more comes from Port harry. i mean port Henry and hope that weird but cool stephanie gets her own story. If you choose to buy you will under stand the slips. i would say there is feminism in this but that would be a lie thank goodness. occasionally a girl power moment but hey under the circumstances a damsel in destress all the time will make you vomit. beside relying on one self is sometimes the best way to get out of sticky situations. Any if you are new to the series start at the beginning. if not then this is definitely one to get.

Hallelujah, a narrator to do Immortals justice

Finally, one of Lynsay Sands' stories that touches all the bases. Most of the previous readers have spoiled the story - you enjoyed it in spite of their efforts. This Argeneau novel is a treat and it is enhanced by the narrator. With Amanda Ronconi at the microphone you are never in doubt which character is speaking and so the story just flows making the experience pure pleasure.

Immortal Born is worthy of the Argenau series.

Loved it. Fast moving, hot, and just as addictive as all the books in this series. Wonderful.

I love this series!

I have all of the books in this series, it is nice having them on audible. I enjoyed this read immensely. Very good book, it was nice having the earlier characters like Elvie and getting back to Port Charles.

Love this book

I am so glad that they didn’t make the heroine into a dumb chick. I enjoyed the story, was upset Marguerite did not make an appearance. I’d love to hear about her and the her new child. I loved the characters in Port Henry and the narrator was good.

Anything for your child

I love this series. When I read the synopsis I was very excited. I knew that this book was going to be great. What I was not expecting was the time shift. There are a couple of things that happened within this book that surprised me.

There are a lot of people from Port Henry that I have forgot. I think this book should have been maybe set released during the Port Henry miniseries. I thought this book was going to be more about the random vampire we were introduced in The Trouble With Vampires. With that book it still had that evil doctor still looming in the background. This book just doesn't seem to fit within this timeline. It's a good book but just off in the timeline.

I did enjoy seeing all of the old people from Port Henry even if I did forget a lot of them. When I remembered the book that they were in I was 100% committed. I loved the relationship between Magnus and Allie. They fact they did not fall insta in love was a plus. I liked how Magnus allowed Allie to want to be with him and not force her into a marriage. I also enjoyed all of the kids that were introduced.

Another good things about this books is that a villian from way back is no longer in the background. I guess we will see if the Argeneau clan and co can stop the doctor.

Love this series!

interesting continuation of the story about the rogue hunters and the bad guy, Abidon. a return to some of my favorite, past characters. Argeneau series is one of my favorites. they always make me laugh out loud. don't expect the perfect literature piece, it's vampire chick-lit! fun, quick and a bit scary
