Great cast

This story has amazing sound design. I was listening with my work headphones and felt fully immersed in the environment. Plus you can never go wrong with Liam Cunningham as a voice actor.

Loved this listen!!

Great twist on the usual vampire story, plus cool world-building, believable relationships and a kicka$$ heroine. There is obviously more to tell in this world. Another please!!

Ready for the next Book!

This was excellent! From the story to the narration, everything was great! I wish it was longer but it was long enough that it didn't feel rushed. Can't wait for the next one.

Dang... I wasn't expecting something so good

i absolutely loved this. I'm so upset it's over. i literally could not stop listening.

Sound design/mic/production was nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend listening with headphones for a mind blowing immersive experience. i listened to part of this in my car and it just doesn't compare to when I had headphones on.

Major props to all the wonderful creatives that made this production possible. I appreciated listening to the detailed credits at the end - every one of them deserves a standing ovation. Thank you all for a fantastic performance.

Page Turner!

An interesting concept. Just as I had sussed out what might happen, the opposite happens, adding more drama. I wasn't too sure whether I would like this to begin with, but the story quickly picked up the pace.

This sci-fi horror, based in the future around 2040 and feels like a zombie thriller. However, this story is all about vampires, instead. If you enjoy zombie stories, then you'll appreciate this one.

I understand that not everyone is a fan of these theatrical audiobooks, but if you give yourself a chance to break into them, then it's great, especially for this genre. Just like a game, like "Resident Evil", where you can hear the clickers, the howling, and the sound of something scurrying past. I liked how the audiobook had a bit of music at the end of each chapter, just like a TV series does.

My first audiobook with a full cast and sound effects was the "Jane Eyre collection, original drama", on Audible. After that I enjoyed, "Zombies: A record of the Year of Infection" by Don Roff. Then, "We're Alive", by K.C.Wayland was awesome. I didn't enjoy, "Carmilla", if that helps.

I want to thank Audible for sending me this free copy.

Captivated post-apocalyptic paranormal action

To say I enjoyed this production and storyline would be an understatement! I was so captivated by the story that I nearly went mad when it was completed and I have to wait for season 2. As an audible original, the seasons are not available on any other platforms that I have found. The casting was spot one, the narrators performed beautifully and overall - this is exactly what a graphic audio should be, a movie in your mind!

Set in a post-apocalyptic world, a band of survivors have taken up residence in a medieval castle. After the comet destroyed most of the planet, the long winter set in and new creatures emerged. The human survivors have had to learn fast and train to protect themselves from this new threat, as well as learn to survive in a world without modern comforts.

Darcy is a young warrior for the castle. She is strong, admired, steadfast in her beliefs and fiercely protective of her younger sister, Hope. Hope is a bit of a wild child and rebellious teenager. As a typical teen, she thinks she knows everything and that everyone else is trying to keep her sheltered and prevent her from having any fun. When Hope travels outside of the protection with her good-for-nothing boyfriend, Darcy and a team must go out to retrieve them. The events that follow force Darcy to question those long held beliefs, Hope to grow up much faster than she ever realized and the colony itself to examine their moral line for survival.

Travis Beacham did an absolutely astounding job with this storyline. It pulls you in from the very beginning, is fast-paced enough to keep your attention while still giving good details and is incredibly bingeable. The production was perfection! I loved the British cast and felt they really made the characters come to life. The music and theatrics added to the experience is a perfectly synergistic way!

I truly cannot wait to get to listen to season 2 and from my massive google search, it appears season 3 will be released shortly. If you have an audible subscription then you MUST get in on this amazing series. I would truthfully love to see this produced as a full T.V. series with the same casting! One can dream...

Impact Winter, Part 1: Wow!

Set in the future, Impact Winter starts seven years after a comet hits the earth and completely covers the sun.

No big deal, right? Not exactly! Now the world is dark and frozen, allowing a predator species to come out of hiding to wreak havoc on the human race. Vampires!

Set in the British countryside, a community trying to survive, bunker down in the fallout shelter of an old military castle. They live, love, and try to remain sane underground. A few train to fight the monsters.

Darcy, a fierce vampire slayer, is the castle's champion. She strives to make the world safe, not only for her community, but for her younger sister Hope. Her mission is to save all of humanity.

Darcy hates vampires until…

I won't give away the story. The narrators are awesome and bring this immersive 3D audio to life.
