About this listen

I’m so not over her sexy mouth. Too bad she has enough defiance in her to hate my guts.

Never, ever go into business with the woman whose heart you shattered. I’ve lost my ever-loving mind!

I fell for Aedon Thatcher, years ago, the moment I laid eyes on her. Her beauty, brains, and “I don’t give a damn” attitude were irresistible.

I thought I had my future all figured out, down to the names of our children. Then, I screwed it all up. My ego, which perched higher than your average Joe, became the monster that ate away at her love for me.

I went from her hero to an evil villain that she ran from. I couldn’t blame her. I hated me, too.

Now our venture together puts us in the same place every day. A sweet second chance. Too bad she still loathes me. At least, that’s what her sexy lips say. Her body says something totally different, and I plan on taking advantage of every inch she gives me.

Some people were just meant to be together

Ashe & Aedon make a perfect couple except when they’re not together. Love the chemistry and tension between them, then throw Ren into the mix. Great settings with the disasters and the details.

Second Chances

I love how this author keeps me guessing throughout her books. Ashe and Aedon's story was a roller coaster ride of ups and downs with disasters along the way. They are both doctors and run a medical trauma team flying into danger to save lives. They have a past and a present and their best friend Ren is intertwined between these two. Life and love isn't easy for Ashe, he struggles and though Aedon tries to help and loves him regardless he needs to fix himself.

John-Michael Jalonen does a good job narrating this book. I enjoyed listening to him.

I enjoyed this book and recommend it.

Perfectly Imperfect

Imperfect is a second chance romance that pulled me in from the first chapter. First, I love a suspenseful book, and the premise of doctors helping during dire situations as a search and rescue/trauma team fascinated me. The medical team of Aedon, Ashe and Wren is phenomenal, and their missions had me on the edge of my seat. But this is not all. Kelly Moore weaves in a romantic thread I didn't see coming. Ashe's condition in a profession such as his proves to be hard to manage. I was intrigued by the dynamics of Ashe and Aedon, and how all three worked to help him. I have to say, I was surprised how things were going though, making the story that much better! Add in a little girl who was my hero through it all, and this Imperfect story is just perfect.

John-Michael Jalonen narrates this story and I enjoyed his voices. He has a great pace, and he found the personalities of his characters easily. I loved that he captured the suspense and let us feel the fear, tragedy, hurt, lust and love.
