Publisher's summary

Fifteen hundred years after the fall of the ancients with their science, a medieval-style civilization has arisen amid a new power made possible by the last invention of science...the magic of Icor.

New evils arise to join old ones. New wars must be fought. New alliances must be made. New kinds of magical creatures join forces to support or to oppose the destruction of humanity.

Fantasy Adventure Beautiful Narration

The 2nd book in a series of three entitled "THE ICOR TALES". I recommend all three. The series is an epic Journey with all the right fantasy ingredients of Wizards, Battles, Strange lands, Heroes and Heroines and many other colourful characters. But this tale is partcularly gripping as it is woven with beautifully detailed characters written by Andrew Bathgate. Sometimes scary and sometimes heartwarming and often very funny. The talented Tom Fairfoot smoothly narrates with a multitude of genuine character voices and accents bringing to life this array of wonderful beings across all three audio books and draws you further into this magical world.
