Now reduced to a schoolyard chant, the Hope family murders shocked the Maine coast one bloody night in 1929. While most people assume seventeen-year-old Lenora was responsible, the police were never able to prove it. Other than her denial after the killings, she has never spoken publicly about that night, nor has she set foot outside Hope’s End, the cliffside mansion where the massacre occurred.

The Necronomicon was not the first book by H.P. Lovecraft to terrify readers with tales of dark and twisted horrors from beyond. No, the Al-Azif, or Book of the Insect, is the first work that told mankind of Cthulhu, Azathoth, and other terrors. Indeed, it was the book that inspired "The Mad Arab" Abdul Al-Hazred to write its more famous successor.

Ghosts, a mad billionaire and eternal life!
This novella will keep you in its grasp from the beginning! We catch up with the trio from Moorehead Manor...Adam, Emily and Jimmy. They are now in college and separated. We learn that Jimmy and Emily have broken up and it takes Adam pleading with Emily to go to save Jimmy. As it turns out, someone has discovered that they were responsible for burning down Moorehead Manor. Now that someone, a real estate mogul, needs their help to save his grand daughter. Apparently another historic mansion is in the clutches of ghosts and they have kidnapped 5 yo Hannah. Armed with ‘ghostbusting’ equipment and trained guards, the trio enter another house of horrors...will they survive this one? Another great story with heart stopping moments. Narration memorizes you...much as the paranormal activity in the basement of that mansion!
Would love a follow up story...can’t get enough of Adam, Emily and Jimmy!

Enjoyable
Another great story & it was great to see the main characters return. A new haunted house, guilt by the same architect who built the house in the 1st book. He's built 6 more too we find out, so I wonder if we will see 6 more books in the series?
It's another well done narration as well.
The Narrator was clearly spoken & no mistakes at all that I could catch. All the proper emotions when needed & great character changes in his voice!!

received as a gift from a group we belong to, this was a WONDERFUL story, in Audible format. Part two of three, it was scary enough, not Freddy Kreuger level but still up there_.... with an exciting story line, I couldn't turn it off! Laid in bed listening late into the night ;-) How fun!

A haunting story
This story had me wondering what was happening. A bit creepy.
The only corse language I think I heard was shit. There was violence, but doesn’t go into gory details.
The story is well constructed. Leaves you wanting more.
Narrated by: Steven Miller He does a wonderful job. With his low deep voice. I did listen to the story at a faster speed of 1.4x. He brings the characters alive with their own individual unique voice.
Really enjoyed this story.
