Freaking finally

Finally!!!! The story continues but I did have issues on a few things. First being the new Narrator. Yes, yes I know I’m playing favorites here but I did listen to all the previous books with that narrator so it’s going to happen. It’s not like the new guy did a horrible job or anything and he did his best to make it sound similar to the previous narrations but there were some rough parts with long pauses that I got to me and really made the difference stand out.

Secondly, the story I love the fact I can continue where John, Rachel, and DOG left off but I wasn’t expecting things to go the way they did (I’ll leave it at that so there won’t be spoilers). Also, it felt like there was a bit more fluff being blown up my a** as filler.

Besides those issues which is only me being nit picky I’m on to the next book to just to be blueballed again lets shoot for 3 years this time. XD

Great Listen!

Such a good story - I really liked the narrator. The Characters are very colorful and strong. Dirk Patton is a talented Military fiction Author - love his style.

The Narrator is ugh..

I love this series. I’ve read the first half of the series twice, and now I’m listening to it. I really didn’t like the narrator in the previous books at first, so maybe if this narrator continues I’ll end up liking him more, however, it’s just so jilted and choppy. It’s almost as if he is an AI screen reader voice.

The story itself is on point like usual. John Chase finally has his goal accomplished, only to have fate slip the goal slip through his fingers. And once again the chase is on… pun intended.

Excellent...

I love this series, it's well written and has great flow, keeps the reader interested. John is awesome character, that guy doesn't know the meaning of the word, quit 😁
the narration was not great. the narrator was starting, stopping, starting, stopping- it was very stilted. He didn't have good rhythm, he got better around chapter 30. but it definitely took away from the story.

Can’t listen with the new voice.

The original narrator IS Chase’s voice. I just can’t listen to the new voice - have to keep re-listening to chapters cause I tune out. Story is still good but will read the rest.

Unique zombies are always entertaining. Good series!

Wish I would have seen the narrator change

UHG! Love the story, but what a disappointment to automatically keep going in the series to find a horrible narration change & audible won't let me return? What a pile of crap. ALWAYS listen first. Cause my monthly commitment to audible simply isn't enough. Now, I have to keep a book I will NEVER finish. I am a voice talent, and from my perspective, you don't change the MC voice in the fricken 7th book. Ridiculous! C'mon DIRK! Sheesh.
