Publisher's summary

When Seithe and his siblings are relocated to Cape Town for the summer, he has no idea what is in store for him. He's forced to sanctify the vamporium, dive for his halo, fight sea monsters off Cape Point in a raging storm, and calls from the past the ghost ship which haunts Cape Town. For Seithe there is one thing important in his young life, finding the truth of who and what he is. It's only when he crosses paths with the human Tasmin that the truth dawns on him. He is all powerful, the forever living, and a singular force to be used in the war against evil.

Falling in love his world turns to ashes when Tasmin's nemesis kidnaps her, the only way to save her is to lose her. Being a teenage vampire is harder than you think.

Just, Yes!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This audio book was amazing! It was so easy to listen to while working. (or not working, haha) Michael is a fantastic narrator! The way Poppet writes and describes is beautiful. The poetry in her writing. Awesome.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love Seithe *so* much! He is by far my favorite. He takes on so much and feels everything with every ounce of his soul.

What about Michael Pauley’s performance did you like?

I really just loved the way he spoke. Everything flowed nicely. He brought the joy, pain and happiness into the words spoken. When Seithe was sad you could FEEL it thanks to Michael.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Sitting at my desk at work I would break out laughing a few times and felt such sadness as well. I won't go into details because I don't want to spoil the book for anyone!

Any additional comments?

Poppet~ I love this book so much! Thank you! I'm ready to start book 2 now! I encourage anyone who is into the supernatural, listen to this book. You will not be disappointed.

A delightful experience

Where does Indigo Vamporium rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Well it's the first audiobook I've listened to so I can't really answer this question but it certainly was a delightful experience.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Indigo Vamporium?

I liked best where Seithe defends his sister's Ellint's honour when she is seduced by a human at a party. Seithe anger and righteousness and the love for his sister and her indignant reaction. It was all so recognisable and really gave a perfect insight into Seithe's character.

Which character – as performed by Michael Pauley – was your favorite?

I think Tasmin but as the novel switches between the characters quite swiftly and in first form, I think all of them were good. The sly Venix was very good as well.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The scene at the beach where Seithe and Tasmin fall in love.

Any additional comments?

I'm absolutely overwhelmed by Poppet's vocabulary and her stringing of words into unique sentences.
