Publisher's summary

The next gripping Hunt for Jack Reacher thriller from Diane Capri!

“Make some coffee. You’ll read all night.” (Lee Child)

FBI Special Agent Kim Otto is hot on Jack Reacher’s trail as he speeds away from Chicago.

Since Reacher hooked up with escaped car thief Petey Burns in South Dakota, he’s had a steady ride. Destination unknown, but traceable.

Otto’s manhunt is derailed when she learns Jack Reacher’s nephew is in trouble.

Jake and his mother have disappeared, leaving a dead man behind.

Seven years ago, Jack Reacher teamed up with the CO of his old unit, Major Susan Turner, to demolish a drug-smuggling operation in Lee Child’s Never Go Back.

Now, Otto and Turner race to save Reacher’s nephew from men who seek to deliver vengeance first.

Filled with twists and turns to keep you breathless until the explosive finale, can Otto find them all before it’s too late?

Lee Child gives Diane Capri two thumbs up!

The Hunt for Jack Reacher series enthralls fans of John Grisham, Lee Child, David Baldacci, Michael Connelly, Karin Slaughter, Lisa Gardner, and more.

Award-winning New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Diane Capri does it again in another blockbuster Hunt for Jack Reacher series novel.

it wasn’t my favorite in the Hunt for Reacher series

The author introduced one character that just didn’t fit in the world of Jack Reacher — and was just not interesting enough to follow. Others of the series have been better.

If it wasn’t for Jack Reacher

If it wasn’t for the fact that I love the Jack reacher story line, i wouldn’t have been able to finish the reading. In this book, the author too too long to get to the point, was overly descriptive and seemed to go in circles. It lost my attention but in the end it did tell her good story. I just wish it didn’t feel like she was making it stretch to fill the pages.

Throughly enjoyed!

Throughly enjoyed the story line and the reader. I have read or listened to all the Jack Reacher and Hunt for Jack Reacher books.

worst Reacher book by far

Reacher novels are one of my favorites and I have read or listened to nearly all of them; many twice. I'm struggling to finish this book. It's very hard to stay interested. I won't waste time on another one by Diane Capri.

was hoping for better

The mistress of lazy writing. Copy and paste is her stock and trade. We can now add forgetful. Does this story take place in Columbia or Charleston? Is the hotel the Magnolia or the Marigold?
I really like the concept and characters. Don't know if that would be enough to get another of Ms. Capri's books.

Using a great series for self promotion...

Average writer uses the best-selling chacter Jack Reacher to sell average mystery books. And... The reader is average to poor. Reads like an average high school student.

In other words... This book was disappointing.

Dumb

The story plot is just plain dumb and very hard to follow. There is less than no connection between the story plot and reality. The book was a complete waste of money.
