Jason's Virus

I took a chance on this despite the reviews. After reading The Last Tribe by Brad Manuel non-violent post apocalyptic is now my all time favorite genre, but it's extremely rare. I was hoping this would be similar, but unfortunately it was not. Turning the tables and making women rapist and power hungry was just as much of a turn off as when male characters are the perpetrators. I managed to finish the book because it was short to begin with, if it had been longer I would not have made it through. Sorry I can't recommend this one, but I wish the author well and would give him another chance.

Last man standing and he’s a wimpy one.

Turned into a sperm donor used by women. Another fantasy played out in an apocalypse. Unfortunately this man cleans the house after sexual encounters. This book is written about a world where men become less manly and yet it makes for a better world. In a world like that I’m afraid I wouldn’t want to repopulate using that dude. A world without manly men is a world doomed. Wasted credit..

loved it

I loved this book. Tim Alexander really brings this story to life and makes you love the characters even more. Jason works at the CDC. One day he was home with his son Colin when a tornado came through trapping them in the the storm shelter. They do not know a deadly virus has hit the world. When they are finally rescued 2 years later they find out the world is not the one they remember.
