helpful script

Very basic introduction and good for those with very little (or no) JavaScript and/or programming experience. But in that regard, it does cover a lot of items in very brief detail and you may have to read and re-read a few times as a beginner to understand and learn. But really good as a transition guide from one language to another, or something brush up on the basics after a long absence from programming.great experience

Awesome book

A good supplement to learning Javascript from Scott Bernard. You can use it as a reference or use it as a guide to JavaScript. Like most of the Scott Bernard books the quality is high, the content is relevant and the layout is appropriate,

Worth....best book

This book is very long and can seem quite overwhelming to start, however it takes you through the process very smoothly at a good pace, and gives exercises along the way to enhance the learning. The screenshots help understand each process better and I like the fact there are links to all the resources you need to start coding. The history of JavaScript was an added bonus at the beginning which provides a bit of context.

Excellent book

Javascript is a very dark matter for me personally And i want to learn how to code. Without help it is impossible. This book is very helpful beginners guide, even tho in my eyes I'm not even a beginner. But if I understand it, people who know a little on the matter will find this listening it even more helpful. It gives fundamental details, step by step.

Informative audio book

I've been a professional web developer for 18 years and have always listened to every JavaScript book, blog, post and ebook I could find. A junior web developer on staff asked me if I could recommend a good JavaScript book. I recommended this book. I don't care how good at Googling JavaScript questions you are, if you listen to this book cover to cover, you'll keep thinking, "I didn't know you could do that!" I highly recommend it to web devs of any level.

Digestible Introduction for Beginners

Nice introduction to Javascript. It's DEFINITELY meant for beginners, but does a good job of concentrating the concepts it covers into disgetible pieces. Very nice.
