Publisher's summary

She’s a sexually repressed control freak. He’s a muscular ex-con with heavier baggage than Santa’s toy bag. They’re everything each other never wanted.

Mary

I’m usually the first person on my block to decorate for Christmas. This year? Humbug.

My six-year-old son, Aidan, just had a meltdown after learning some hard truths from a drunk Santa impersonator, and I can no longer deny we both need help. Change is hard for Aidan, and right now he’s dealing with several big ones, including A) his father abandoning us, B) our move to Asheville, and C) the Santa snafu.

And me? I’m a control freak, and my life is more out-of-control than a sled on ice.

That’s why I agree to let Aidan join Butterfly Buddies, a group that matches kids with adult mentors.

It’s also why I agree to a mentor of my own - terrifying, pink-haired Nicole, who wants to help me live life on the wild side. Her advice is strangely compelling, especially after I meet Aidan’s new “buddy”, a gorgeous tattooed hunk of a man who makes me wish there weren’t cobwebs in my...well, you know.

Jace

Mary O’Shea is sexy as hell, but she doesn’t know it.

She also doesn’t know I’m an ex-con, and if she finds out that I served three years in prison, extenuating circumstances won’t matter to her.

The last thing I should do is get attached to her kid...or her, but I didn’t get in this position by making good decisions.

Great story

I liked this story about Jace an# Mary. I really liked how Jace understood about the needs of Aiden being on the spectrum of autism and wanting to help. Mary became more confident, too. This is a wonderful series. Tyler Donne and Amanda Ronconi brought everyone to life with their narration.

Quirky romance

This quirky holiday romance was better than I expected. Lots of romance and humorous moments. The narrator voices were okay. I’m interested in hearing Tina’s story.

Best one yet

This is my absolute favorite book by two of my favorite authors. I read the book when it was released and had to come back and listen. The narrators are amazing. They completely brought the story to life and made it even better which I didn't think was possible.

Excellent!!!!

This is book 2 from the Bad Luck Club series!

This book is my favorite so far...

I just LOVE Jace and Mary's story!! Tons of laughs!

For me the star of this book is Aiden... I just LOVE him!!

Mary's autistic son is brutally honest and innocent. He is VERY literal. and reminds me so much of my autistic nephew, they did a great job of portraying many of the true characteristics of someone on the spectrum!

Great Job Ladies!! My favorite so far!

Aiden and Jace have my heart.

I was so excited to see that the next book would follow Mary and Aiden. After the last one I was very eager to throat punch Aiden’s dad.
I quickly came to love Aiden and Jace. I love everything about Jace. He’s the perfect book boyfriend. Aiden is autistic and I felt like the authors did a fabulous job making it feel authentic.
The narrators, Amanda Ronconi, and Tyler Donne did a wonderful job portraying the characters and bringing them to life. The tones and inflections used were great as well!
I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a funny romcom. This is a part of a series, but it can be read as a stand-alone.

SLOW BURN

Loved this book. Everything was amazing. I was recommended this by a friend who told me it was a slow burn romance. Honestly, this was the slowest slow burn book I've ever read and it was done very well. It kept me on the edge of my seat and I could not stop listening to it. I even figured out a way to hide my airpods at work so I wouldn't have to quit listening for even a second. LOVED IT!!!

Great story

When I read the blurb for this book I was intrigued and since Christmas is my favourite holiday of the year I was excited to read Jingle Bell Hell. I fell hard and fast for Jace and Mary, single mum to Aidan, her autistic son and the secondary characters of Nicole Ricci and Dottie Hendrickson.

From the first chapter I was hooked on the story these authors wove and have no idea who wrote what or where one finished and the other took over; the words flowed that easily.

Amanda Ronconi and Tyler Donne are both relatively new narrators to me and I enjoyed their performance. Their voices were pleasant and easy to listen to and brought the characters to life for me.

However it was Jace’s relationship with Aidan that took this book to another level for me. His understanding of the needs of autistic children melted my heart. His acceptance and protectiveness was inspiring.

This book had me laughing out loud too many times to count. In fact my husband thought I was out of my mind when I woke him from a sound sleep with my laughing. This was a wonderful book full of humour, love and romance.
Jingle Bell Hell is a well written story that will draw you and keep you invested from the first to the last chapter.

Performance could have been better.

Amanda Romconi delivered as always. She gives the story life. Tyler Donne’s voice was nice and sexy… but his delivery was truly a turn off. I almost stopped listening. Good voice … bad reading. The story… well the story is good, corky and sweet.
