Editorial reviews
This is an absorbing retelling of the classic story from the Bible, enlivened with harmonious music and sound effects. The story is the familiar one: the prophet Jonah is swallowed by a whale when he refuses to warn the people of Nineveh about their wickedness, but he later relents and learns about the power of God. Performer Neil Innes' regal, British-accented baritone is pleasant and creates a sense of drama around the tale. A wonderful way for kids to be introduced to this important Bible story and common cultural allusion.

Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

Best audio book with synchronized images
Even though it's only 5min long, it has to be one of the best books with synchronized images on this website. On top of that, it's one of the most unique and entertaining stories from Gods word. Great find. Audible needs to produce books like this.
