Julie and her daughter do a good job

What made the experience of listening to Julie Andrews' Treasury for All Seasons the most enjoyable?

That it was fun, but more geared to kids, I still enjoyed it, they read some good poetry, and stuff. It just missed being a 5 star thing by a little but it just lack that little spark for me the adult listener. (Why I was listening to kids was the problem but it said it had a lot of poetry I liked to hear and also like Andrews.)

Who was your favorite character and why?

It was a few people reading poems, it had to find a favorite character, My favorite poem was by Langston Hughes.

Have you listened to any of Julie Andrews and Emma Walton Hamilton ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have a Julie Andrews book Home waiting for me to listen too, I enjoyed the book completely and it was on sale so I bought it but have not had time to listen yet.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I smiled a bit at some of the poems, I really enjoyed listening to them.

Any additional comments?

For a mostly kids book, its not too bad for adults too.

Love it!!

As my BFF says, "I could listen to Julie Andrews read a phone book". Nice selection of poems covering the entire year. This and her other book of poems puts me to sleep at night... NOT because the book is boring but because of her soothing voice.

This collection includes many old favorites as well as some I've never heard, and a few wonderful poems by Julie and Emma as well.

Delicious Prose

I'm saving this, as well as the Julie Andrews' Collection of Poems, Songs and Lullabies, to read to my future grandchildren, and of course, enjoy them myself until then!

A disappointment😐😔

Some of the poems bothered me. There was one I skipped because it grossed me out when I was eating! I didn't care to hear about gross rotting teeth and gas so bad it cleared a room (I was eating but would I want to hear that any other time? No) I can't say how the end of that one was because I stopped listening. I like Julie Andrews but wish I had not wasted my money on this!
