Publisher's summary

Sent on a mission to backwards Earth, alien physician Kalen never expected to find his destined mate. Meridan's alluring scent, soft curves, and the fire in her spirit call to him the way no female ever has. She is his destined mate. He’s certain of that.

Fierce and independent, nurse Meridan was never interested in settling down, with a human or an alien, especially not the arrogant, rude, and devastatingly sexy medic Kalen.

How far will Kalen go to claim the woman he loves when the rules between his planet and hers prevent him from doing just that?

After a terrifying attack leaves Meridan near death, Kalen breaks the rules to save her and bind them together as mates.

How will Meridan and Kalen find common ground before the universe tears them apart forever?

Stand-alone, full-length novel. No cheating. Happy ever after.

Interesting Storyline

Book was interesting, but similarities to other books in this genre is there. Interesting take on the child found; maybe a book will be written I. The future to address the child and the child’s abilities. Narrator does a good job with this series. Plan to continue listening to this series.

Second Book Better

I liked Paax story in the first book of this series but the story itself was a little awkward and challenging to listen to. Kalen’s story was much much better, easier to follow. It’s a nice adventure story mixed in with romance and sex.

Much longer and better detail than the first book

I really wish a female was narrating these stories I think they would get the female emotions across better. I like Logan for the male voices don’t get me wrong it’s just the female voices that I have a hard time with. However, he did a wonderful job of narrating the story. Again, this isn’t on him it’s a me thing you know what I mean.

The story was longer than the first one with lots of detail which was missed in the first book. I have to say though the men seem like they are more assh0les than protectors. It’s like they choose to not understand their wives are different from them. But I’m sure their mothers had to have some sweet hearted ways too. It just feels like they have no idea what a female is in any since of the word. Like through out all of space not one female had emotions like earth females?
I want to see what happens next so I will be getting the other books.
Overall I would give this book a 3.3 stars
