Publisher's summary

An honorable man: soldier, lover, father, and friend. How did this happen? When did the lies begin? How can one man be expected to keep them all straight, even knowing the consequences deep down to his soul if he doesn’t?

Lenny "Iron" Fensley realizes each day is truly a gift in his world. Not only is his life, but also the lives of the two most important people in the world, his baby girl and the woman he loves, are in constant danger. A danger he never saw coming when he was doing his duty serving his country. When Iron starts prospecting with the Grimm Wolves MC, he feels like he has found a safe haven with his club brothers and their families. As they open their hearts to not only him, but to his daughter, Everly, and his baby momma, Joy, he feels a sense of security for the first time since all the lies began.

That is until he is faced with a secret from not only one of the club’s members, but their enforcer, who could put him six feet under. Realizing he is screwed, Iron finally confides in the one person he never thought he would. However, to prove he can keep secrets, he has to reveal the one closest to his heart.

Iron! Emotional and loving!

So here's the deal. This MC club, romantic suspense series is fantastic! Why? Because it has amazing characters and stories. While it focuses on a couple, it encompasses all the points of view of the club members and gives a depth that no other series has. This book features Iron. He and his wife, Joy, are childhood sweethearts and have an adorable daughter. The couple along with their friend and prospect Doc, hold a secret that if ever revealed may ruin their lives. But Joy is having problems living with the past. These two will do anything to protect her, but what they find out is the club is always have their back. Bring in Chains, the club enforcer who shows just what it means to be part of a family. I loved this installment. It's emotional, it's tragic, it's protecting, it's love. I cannot wait to hear what DM Earl has in store next!

Michael Norman Johnson is Iron, and he is amazing. He comes in with all the protective feelings, and his unconditional love for his family was all evident in his voice. Victoria Landon is Joy, letting her nuances add so much to this truly broken woman. She has a lot to deal with, and she creates each emotion. The secondary characters are all brought to life with a perfect voice for each too. I enjoyed this performance!

M/C Grimms

I enjoyed this audiobook narrated by the talents of Michael Norman Johnson and Victoria Landon. This book deals with the psychological healing of rape and abuse. Joy, Irons and Everly sort through their relationship. Chains needs to make some decisions about his future.

Dark, beautifully, passionately done!

Iron, a prospect with a past, a frightening past that could ruin any future he has, if his secrets get out… The writing, the characters, the story, so dark, so frightening, made all the more frightening by the distinct possibility secrets akin to Irons may actually be held, somewhere… “Keeping Secrets: Prospect” is written with sensitivity, compassion and heart, presenting just enough of the “salacious” to properly horrify and make THIS story work, without resorting to over sensationalism or shock for shocks sake! No spoilers, you’ll understand when you get there! The result is a perfectly balanced, beautifully narrated story that held me enthralled, throughly engaged, feeling every emotion possible! This story, THIS story, broke my heart, fractured my soul, made me laugh, made me cry, and then made my heart soar with its ultimate beauty as everything sorted out in a brilliant, beautiful finish that has left me so hungry for the next book in this series, positively famished with need to see what happens for Chains, the club enforcer! My word D.M. Earl, ya killin me, and I am so loving ever single second! Five fantastic stars!

Iron & Joy have faced some major trauma & battles

Iron and Joy have faced some major trauma and battles, and I was rooting for them so it was great to see them truly face the past and find new happiness in the present with their daughter and the Grimm Wolves at their back. I will admit I was confused a few times however, because the narration is not just from Joy and Iron's POV. There are first person POV chapters of several other characters and it can throw you off, or at least did me...I listen while doing other tasks and I found myself several times going "whoa wait, who is talking now?" Yes the character is announced at the beginning but it can still slip through my consciousness as it is quick until the dialogue doesn't match what I expect. I also expected more of Joy and Iron and how the two of them as a couple coped with everything. Story wasn't bad, don't get me wrong, just not as I expected from the blurb and there were some aspects (from other characters) that really threw me off and we'll just say wasn't my cup of tea. Narration was good.
