Life-changing lessons for health and well-being.
I am a firm believer in intermittent fasting, ketosis, and this book has done an excellent job in explaining the benefits of this practice. The historical detail is mind blowing. There is an excellent review article in the New England Journal of Medicine published on December 26 of 2019 that validates the scientific concepts outlined in this book. Congratulations to the author. I encourage everyone to watch his YouTube interview as well.

I read and listen to a lot of nonfiction. Often the narrators try to “act” and it spoils it for me. The narrator has a pleasant voice and sounds genuinely interested.

Great History of Giants in cellular chemistry!
Excellent historical review of Giants in the field of cellular metabolism and the discovery of ketones and how they have been used to improve metabolic health. This book adds to a deeper appreciation and understanding for those interested in low carb lifestyle. Abosolitely loved it!
