an interesting and light hearted terminator

this is clearly inspired by terminator and is fantastically done. I'll admit I like most though not all the books eric vall puts out. this one I can say for sure is one up my ally and maybe yours.

if you seen terminator 1&2 then you pretty much know the story. this however is more about the journey. it's a light hearted, slice of life type of story with a few action scenes sprinkled in.

Fantastic

Even though it was a retelling of the Terminator story line it was done in a way to make it new and fresh. The characters were brought out in a way that made you care for them more and more as the book went on. Once again Eric did a fantastic job on the book. The narrators did a great job of bringing the world to light and portraying each character. I would recommend the book to anyone who enjoys a time travel story.

Awesome story!

I loved this book! Bio-androids have always been a big hit with me so it was easy to stay engaged. The biggest issue I have with this story is Jackson Rhodes' performance. It sounds like after a couple of words, he has to stop and read a couple of words, then repeat over and over. The great story made up for his lack of skill. This is a single book, not a series. It gets tied up very well at the end. Thanks to Eric Vall for another satisfying addition to my audible library!

I NEED MORE

I love the writing and the story. All though the ending is predictable I was a joy listening to the whole way through. It was so relatable because I’m a twitch streamer twitch.tv/golderagaming1 so I felt like I was living in the story

Pretty damn good.

This is close to what I would call a perfect romantic nerd book. There is sex and cursing and violence, but all in the very best ways. It just works. If you don’t like sex, I feel sorry for you but you can easily skip the one sex scene without undue difficulty. The cursing isn’t unnaturally frequent and the violence is not monotonous. It’s honestly just a pretty touching love story with a sci-fi spin. No harems or anything. The writer can’t say this because of copyright laws, but I can. It’s the terminator rewritten as a romance. It is half from the male point of view, and half from the female point of view.

Absolutely lovely story.

Wonderful book with an actual ending. Its good to know that Eric Vall is capable of making an end for a book. Im not complaining, i love most of the series he writes, but actually getting an end is refreshing. It has a wonderful story, interesting characters, not to much action or sex, and focuses more on the the relationship between the main characters. The narrators did an exemplary job, (even though there were a few times you could hear Jacksons Rhodes blowing a bit on the microphone) *Spoilers* If i have to say something negative it is that the second half of the book felt a bit rushed, in my opinion there should perhaps be three parts to the story; First part, getting to know each other and developing a relationship. Second part, deepening the relationship and getting pregnant. Third part, protecting the unborn child and ending the book. That said, im not a writer in any way, so i only know what i personally would enjoy listening to.

Terminator Maybe??

Different version of the Terminator movie. Oh and Kevin is Kronk from The Emperors New Groove. That is all.
