Publisher's summary

Tara is a War Lady, one of 13 elite female warriors who protect the War Queen. She is unlike any of the others - unbeknownst to anyone else, Tara has an enchanted tattoo that warns her of danger. She is sent to retrieve the War King of a neighboring country, Luka, and his brother, Loxxley. Trials and tribulations hound every step of their journey, right up until the moment that they realize their betrayal will be at the hands of those they trust the most.

New to Me Author

This is a new to me Authors. I really enjoyed this story once I got into it. I just felt it ended a bit soon. Will definitely read book 2.

Good start

Hopefully this is the beginning of a good series. The story is petty well developed but it feels like there are many holes that could have been filled making it a very strong 5 star potential. Still worth the listen. Narain feels very forced in several places.

Felt like Original Background for Story Missing

The Story was alright, but not enough for me to want to continue with book 2. There seemed to be a whole lot of history missing to balance this story. Narrator does OK, but there was verbal errors in the reading.
