Publisher's summary

After the loss of his wife and newborn son, stagecoach driver Clay Logan leaves behind all that he knows to escape his ghosts. From the peaceful country lanes of Ohio, to the windswept prairies of Nebraska and Wyoming, to the sedate Mormon community of Great Salt Lake City to the wild, violent mining town of Idaho City, Clay must run in search of inner peace. But instead, he finds only trouble. His trouble had golden blond hair and sky blue eyes, and a half-breed Iriquois Indian for a husband, who beats her mercilessly and loathes Clay from the first moment they meet.

Amazing Story Of the Wild West

This story is a wonderful journey from beginning to end. I have relistened to it recently and I was still able to feel the suspense and excitement throughout. I'd recommend this book to anyone who likes a storythat has great things happening for it.

The new Louis L'amour

Exciting, suspenseful, and an all around wonderful novel. Definitely an author that knows what he's doing. Knows his guns, horses, geography; knows his story.
