Publisher's summary

A badly burned body with a fresh incision and a missing kidney leads Walt into the clandestine world of an organ trader ring that has set up shop in Kansas City.

Walt is determined to bring to justice the bootleggers, who purchase body parts from the disadvantaged and sell them to people with means, until a relative from Maggie's past turns up needing a kidney to survive.

Once again, Walt discovers that very little in his world is black and white.

Lady Justice and the Organ Traders. Book 16

Walt is forced into the world of illegal buying and selling of body parts. He finds there are two stories behind every tale.
Another fantastic book by Robert Thornhill.
I would love to see these books made into movies!

George Kuch's narration, as always, is perfect

each story just gets better

I love these books. Each one gets more thought provoking than the last. They give you something to think about long after the story is over. Great characters, good plot, and I enjoy the narrator. Definitely worth a listen, unless you don't want to see the world we live in under a different light. then I would skip it.

Loved it

I have really enjoyed this series, love the dry humor of Walt and all his friends who help keep him out of trouble. The author knows how to keep you entertained, with danger, thrills and humor. I love the authors twisted plots that always keeps me guessing.

The narrator does an outstanding job bring the characters to life, giving them true emotion that makes you laugh out loud. He male and female voices are right on the money, you always know who is talking and what they are feeling. There are no background noise, no repeating of words and no volume changes. He has really bought this series to life for me. He has a voice I could and have listened to almost all day.

It always amazes me how the author comes up with more things for Walt to get into, it is never a dole moment hanging out with these characters. I am always left with a smile on my face and can't wait to start the next one. The author and the narrator really blend well together giving you a story that really keeps you on your toes. It has been really a thrilling, exciting and fun ride.

I laughed, I cried, I pondered!

Robert Thornhill delves into the pros and cons of yet another controversial subject. Always food for thought. Very well written.

George Kuch 's voice has become an old friend! He always brings his characters to life.

As always a great series

I love this series, it’s got mystery, funny shenanigans, and a great storyline. I love how this author talks about some very serious subjects but yet brings it to a level of entertainment. I voluntarily give this unbiased review in exchange for a free copy of this book.

Lady Justice and the Organ Traders

Black market organs... just another illegal activity that has found its way to Kansas City. Never fear Walt and Ox are on the case.

Robert Thornhill does a fantastic job of looking at the case from both sides. Finding that gray area between right and wrong. I love how he continues to add new characters to the storyline.

A great narration by George Kuch!

Good book

I really enjoyed this book up until the very end. Walt and the rest of the "gang" are always fun, not knowing what trouble they will get into next keeps the excitement there. I liked how this one involved more of Walts wife, and can totally understand his side of the whole shopping experience... been there done most of it... lol.

I gave the story only 4 stars because i didn't like the "reflections" at the end. I have my own opinions on all of that and felt like i was sitting through a lecture given by the author on his thoughts about a subject that can be very touchy and encompassed more than just the main topic of organ traders. Bringing in the topic of drugs in this opinion at the end just made me want to quit listening all together since it should be topics to be discussed, not lectured on.

I was given this book for an unbiased review.

Love!

The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review. I love this series and George Kuch is an amazing narrator. His "voice" for the characters are always spot on. There hasn't been a single book in this series that I haven't liked. If you haven't started this series yet, what are you waiting for? You won't regret it.

Thought provoking & funny

Although this tackles a series topic, it's done in a way that doesn't feel heavy. It's thought provoking and really makes you question good vs evil. The comedic relief provided by Walt & the whole gang is what makes this series what it is. Another home run!
