He wants Mary, but he has to convince her he can be trusted first. He usually charms his way out of everything, but Mary will not be charmed. Mary only wants to be loved.

This was a cute Regency retelling with some twists of its own. I liked the overall story. As far as the narration goes, I was surprised at first it was AI, it was better than I expected, thought it doesn’t quite capture the emotions and the male voice was harder to differentiate. That being said, it was still pleasant and easy to listen to. I recommend it. I can’t wait to read more by this author.
