Sacré-Cœur est un garçon bricoleur de onze ans qui adore le mystère. Il faut dire que son papa est ingénieur aux ponts et chaussées et sa maman médium. Ils l'ont envoyé passer quelque temps à Paris, chez sa tante, Madame Finelouche, qui habite au 28, rue du Chemin Vert.
Sacré-Coeur ne tarde pas à découvrir qu'il se passe des choses bien étranges dans l'immeuble de sa tante. Fantômes, vampires, morts-vivants, loups-garous et autre effrayantes créatures semblent s'être donné le mot pour s'y retrouver !
