not bad

Some ideas seemed good, not sure about all of them. The audio could of been cleaned up some more, the is a lot of breath sounds.

Basic info but that’s not a bad thing!

The author restates the basic concepts of bifurcation in the analysis of an audience in terms of their conscious and subconscious reactions, and the degrees to which people can even control their subconscious reactions (e.g. foot tapping or crossing arms).

Contains a few good points such as with the reliance on electronic (phone, email, texts) communication versus face to face, people lose their ability to read people and interact accordingly by assessing context and nonverbal cues.

Not a lot of new “aha’s” for people that have recently read standard business or pop psychology books, but good to brush up or get acquainted with the concepts. Highly recommend!

Great book with many useful advices

The book is great and has many useful advices, and you should definitely read/hear it at least 2 times to be able to understand and retain as much information as possible(make bookmarks if needed). You can see/hear many similar ideas to the Dale Carnegie's books and lectures or Napoleon Hill, but they are brought up to date and that's great. The narrator's voice is pleasant, but there are a few errors during the lecture, as if he's reading that chapter for the first time, it would have been better if he recorded again those chapters to remove the sound issues and mist intonations (I'm saying this as a novice audiobook fan not a critic, as I don't have even half of his talent as a narrator). The author should at least create a single page presentation website in order to get more information about him and the book, so that future listeners will be have a better understanding of the author's experience and what the book is trying to express.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

some good info

A lot of the ideas in this book seemed forced and not backed up by science. However there still was a lot of good lessons that I took from this book. I received this book in exchange for an unbiased review.

Couldn't even listen.

I receieved a free copy in exchange for an unbiased review. I couldn't even listen to it. The narrator taking a breath after ever sentence destoryed any chance of this being enjoyable.

Lasted 10 minutes before shutting off

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

So, I lasted about 10 minutes before the narrator breathing in my ear got the best of me and I shut it off. It was so bad I could almost feel hot breath in my ear hole... shudder... Unfortunately, I can't really speak to the quality of the content of this book as I didn't absorb very much. If the author ever re-releases this with better audio, I'd be happy to try listening again and would update my review.
