Dominique's genuine love and desire to help her pips. Partners in prime as she calls us. No one could have narrated this better. She shares her wisdom and her story but it feels like she wrote this book for us because she really did. It's a selfless guide. She makes you feel valued and loved and like she's in your corner because she is.Her humor shines as bright as her love for the Lord. She is a light. Her first bit of advise to remember childhood joys and hobby's was brilliant. It woke up a sleeping giant for me. I was dancing in my house like I was in my 20's again listening to songs I used to play on my record player with my sister or my best girlfriend. We'd play them over and over again dreaming of boys we liked or just loving the music and singing along memorizing every word . I started remembering joys I hadn't in years days after trying her advise . Finding new hobbies will be fun. I was so athletic. I want to teach a free dance class at a local gym now. Remember those . Where you just danced to music your own way for 40 minutes with no rules or choreography, You could copy the teacher or do your own dance . Whatever happened to those glasses, they just disappeared. I want to bring them back now . I'm having happy memories of past loved ones with vivid details . They are still coming to memory every day since trying this and making me feel joy again like I felt before loss. What a gift she gave me. I truly love her. The sun in story made me laugh so hard . A lot of her stories did and where similar to mine in way that made me think she was just like we were ! She is a true gem and a gift from God at just the right time in my life. Thank you Dom and thank God for this book . I hope she writes another one. It's a self help book that doesn't feel like work it's fun. I think it's the first of its kind 🙌✝️💜
