Great way to learn about new skills

What about Jim Tedder’s performance did you like?

Tedder has a storyteller's voice, with all the great inflections and proper pauses that entails. His characters were well developed and consistent. However, his lisp for Albert's character was very distracting. I understand he was trying to be true to someone who was deaf for several decades, but it seemed to emphasize the disability way too long.

Any additional comments?

While this is a self-development book, it is presented as one man's effort to change--first because his livelihood is at stake, but later because he realizes he wants to be better. The story emphasizes the time that true change takes, which is a nice change from the occasional expectation that one can read a book and change by next month. The only reason I gave four stars is that there are no files to download; it seems there are figures in the book, but I couldn't find any online.

I wanted analytical/how to. Story was better.

When I was searching I was looking for a analytical or how to book.

This is a story based one but was a great choice. It took until the end of the book to actually get the analytical aspects I wanted. It is a good choice and will help you with your listening struggles. And arguments.

Very descriptive

This book uses a tremendous amount of description to give you a FULL picture of exactly what the author wants you to picture. The story is good and enjoyable. A great book for someone who wants to better learn to communicate with people and not just talk their way through conversation.

So my brother a recommended this book to me because he attended Rollins college in Winter Park and studied under Rick. I've learned a lot because I had many areas to improve in with listening I could now speak and have conversations and most importantly listen with confidence.
