So this was the best beginning of Seth and Laura. As always Willow Winters was perfect with her characters and narrators.

This was a nice prequel to the “Hard to Love” series. It tells the story of how Seth and Laura got together in high school. It takes place after the death of her father who was a crime lord. He was killed in a car accident, and Seth feels the need to be Laura’s protector. He has a secret which you don’t find out until the second book. It’s not essential that you read this one before the series because the other books explain a lot of how they got together. I wouldn’t waste a credit on this because it’s so short, but hopefully I can return it and get my credit back.

This small little Novella packs so much into it that I want so much more. Did I decide to get the rest of the books in the series? HECK YES!!! Willow ma’am you truly have captured my attention. The chemistry between Seth and Laura is all consuming inferno just waiting to be ignited. I cannot wait to jump into the rest of the series because I know it will be off the charts. If you absolutely love, love, love love a MMC who physically aches for his obsession, you need to get this book today.

I can’t believe this author really made us buy the prologue!!
It’s bad enough that each book is only about 5 hours!
The only reason I’m going to continue is bc a friend recommended this series.
Penelope Sky is my favorite author and also had multiple books like this one
But hers are all worth it!
Hope this is the same.
