Impactful!!

Writing love letters to yourself is one of my favorite parts of this article.
There is something so fulfilling about receiving a love letter, even if it is from yourself.
In order to be able to love someone else, you must first love yourself.
I believe that friends are someone with whom you can share your joys and sorrows in life.
The two books I read were both excellent.

Healthy relationships!

Very heartfelt narration on a topic that I need to invest even more time in. I enjoyed the part about toxic relationships because of how damaging negative friends can be. Thank you for sharing about boundaries which will help me when approaching new friendships as well. Thank you so much for recording this!

Really down to earth

I bought this book for my girlfriend as a gift so we could listen to it together as she often suffers from anxiety and the feeling of not having real friends. I hoped it would ease her worries and it has done that very well. The reader talks to you from a realistic and understanding point of view which was comforting for her and reassured her of the bounds she has with her friends. It's a great read that we both enjoyed together.

Just what I needed!

Really powerful bundle on how to be kind to yourself and make friends for life. I really enjoyed the section on how to nurture your confidence and self-esteem. It is a great balance of forgiving yourself and providing you with the tools to become the person you want to be. All women and men need to listen to this bundle in 2022!

A makeover from the inside, out

Collins aims to give their readers “a makeover from the inside out” in Love Yourself Deeply. This book doesn’t shy away from exposing the evils that women believe about themselves. The reader is then provided practical strategies to move closer towards self-love as well of examples to help the reader get started on this journey.

How to Make Friends Easily validates the loneliness that many women feel when obligations such as family and work take priority over maintaining friendships. Collins persuades their readers that there are several physical and emotional benefits to nourishing friendships, despite the barriers women create for themselves.

This bind up makes complete sense as both intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships in women’s lives are explored

This Book Definitely Helped Me Improve

Before I can have lasting friends, I need to learn to love and accept myself. This is the biggest lesson I learn from these two books. They went very well together in a clear and concise way.

Excellent bundle!

After reading multiple boos on the same subject I found these bundle the distilled version of the best, I liked the focus that the author puts on how one should start by loving ourselves in order to get rid of those pesky bad habits that hinder our ability to thrive. The chapter I liked the most is the “Letting Go of Self-Judgement” as I found negative “self-taking” was one of those bad habits, I acquired the tools and strategies to overcome those self-sabotaging words I told myself when things didn’t go the way I want.
I identify with some of the bad habits Practice self-compassion, kindness, care, it conveys a message to replace bad behaviors like victim mentality and replace it with more helpful ones, the audiobook is filled with many examples on sometimes how we talk to ourselves in a manner that doesn’t usually work on our best interest but we are not aware of. Instead with it provides strategies to overcome those challenges, I really like how the author brings the point home when integrating the teachings with an affirmation at the end of each charter, today’s affirmation:” every day is a new opportunity, I won’t let self-doubt or judgment hold me back from the future”. Also, chapter 7 (Mastering your relationships) made me realize that if I want to start practicing self-love I should protect myself from those that I consider friends or controlling family members that don’t necessarily have my best interest at heart, it gave the courage to remove myself and walk away from their toxic relationships.
In Book 2, the most important part is that I realized a great factor in the ability to make friends is the lack of confidence and lack negative impression of myself, I always thought I was not sociable enough to be able to make friends. On the many strategies, I learned was “don’t to try and please others”, just to be true to myself, practice empathy as we might not be able to solve all our friends’ problems but we can show how I understand how they feel, just putting myself in their shoes.
The narrator does an extraordinary job on this Audiobook, it kept me attentive and engaged. I loved it!. All in all, an excellent Audiobook that deserves a 5 star!
